My daughter uses this for the “slick back” look for playing sports. She doesn't worry about her hair coming out at all. The hold is excellent. She is a pitcher for softball so she is constantly moving every pitch, while wearing her face mask. Zero issues with hair! She likes the bigger container but it's not something she takes with her without putting it in a baggie first!

I am AA with medium length natural hair …. Tight ringlet coils . 

Eco helps define coils  and smooth hair down as well . It is also perfect for pony tails and great for edges .

I rated my overall satisfaction as 5 out of 5 because the Eco Style Black Castor %26 Flaxseed Oil Hair Styling Gel holds well without making my hair crunchy or heavy, while also adding moisture for a healthy shine.  For price, I gave it an 4, as it's reasonably priced but there are slightly cheaper alternatives. However, the quality justifies the cost.  I rated quality a 9 because it meets expectations and has become a staple in my routine, though I wish there were larger size options for better value.  Overall, I'm very satisfied and would recommend this gel to others.
