Awesome, we've had four power outages in 3 months, one resulted in tossing my food so low and behold not even 2 weeks after purchasing we had another caused by a lightning strike.  Out came my river pro and I plugged the fridge in.  The screen said I had 10 hours of powering it so I decided to get adventuresome and plugged my TV in also.  Suffice to say when the power came back on in 4 hours I knew my food was good and I was able to watch my tennis. Very pleased!

The price per wattage, is the best deal I found, plus it works great. I would buy it again. And that is what I have done. If you use it to recharge a iPhone, it turns off after the phone is charged. You can leave it on all night and doesn't come back on, so as not to hurt you phone's battery. I am impressed with my River pro. I would recommend it to anyone, well except my ex.

EcoFlow RIVER Pro portable power station is a top notch product.  Thank you EcoFlow for your efforts in creating such a wonderful avenue. We use this for setting up our 3.5 cubic foot freezer at our local farmers market. 5 hours of use uses 40% of the battery life.

3.5 cubic foot freezer

I bought this for my camp trailer for boondocking.  It is showing more than 24 hours run time for my CPAP machine at about 30 watts. Also runs a small 350 waffle maker - average draw 340 watts for 6 waffles using about 12% of capacity. Also used for 125W hand mixer. I can run the fridge while transiting between camp grounds without running propane for limited runs (wired my own switch and outlet for it). Charging with 200w solar panel. Also charges laptop, Gopro and a couple DSLR cameras. Extremely useful!

Though it may seem like there's not much to this unit, there is no need for anything more than it offers. Connect it to the River Pro via the cable (when the units are both off), and connect the River Pro to power. Speedy charging and an easy way to switch to 1.4KWh! I have two sets, so 2.8KWh.
The only complaint: The cable is very beefy, so it's stiff. That's a good thing but also makes tucking it away more difficult. This can feel like it's adding lateral pressure on the connectors but seems okay in my testing.

Simple and excellent way to increase capacity!

With the wide variety of portable powerstations to select from it was admittedly difficult and overwhelming to start the process of looking for the right product to purchase. Even after selecting the River Pro I was still a little apprehensive. But apon receiving the unit and testing it in several different scenarios I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. It has already proven useful during a power outage and even aided in saving me a little financially at home. Well made and designed. Looking forward to testing their other units in the future

Its small but a power house.  Not overly heavy so I can carry it around. Recharges quickly and works great.

Power button sometimes requires a few attempts to turn the device on, no other issues. 
Reached out to customer service about an inquiry regarding solar charging, the representatve replied rapidly with an answer to all my questions. 
A concern with this unit is the lifetime of the batteries (cycles). There are other options from EF and other manufacturers with lithium iron phosphate batteries which have excellent life expectancy but I did want a small (ish) power bank so I can't knock on the device for this short-coming. 
200w 12A max solar input is a tad soft, especially when considering the ultra fast charging from an AC outlet. That fast charge does worry me regarding its effect on the life expectancy of the batteries. 
The light is in an odd place. 

Ultimately, this device is superior to my Jackery 1,000 in terms of output capability and build quality.

YES but..

Excellent machine. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was difficult to get working on my WiFI --- the instructions on how to connect it were somewhat unclear (push the button? don't push the button?). 

However EcoFlow support was excellent so I was able to get it going relatively quickly. 

It DOES require a mobile device (phone/tablet/whatever) with an app to get it configured properly.  If you don't have the app and/or a mobile device you're out of luck. 

Great/solid construction, hefty feel ... looking forward to having it if/when my home power runs out :-(

Quality construction, minor difficulty with WiFi

Lost power about 3 weeks ago & was able to use unit for the first time. Unit kept a refrigerator & a tv on for about 6 hours. Power outage lasted about 11 though. Haven't had a chance to use solar panel yet since it's winter & I live in the north(not much sun).

First usage

Will not connect to internet for the extra features to use boost features also the playstore app to cellphone doesn't work. And  Now it will not charge using ac wall cable. I called the company and tried to explain but had a hardtime understanding their English and furthermore didn't get anywhere except we will email.you more instructions.  The same ones that didn't work talking to them for over an hr that didn't do squat.  Need to send it back less then a week of ownership.  Sad.
