I had one already. but this one is "New and Improved" - the main rods come apart. light weight low to the ground, I'm 6'2" and 245 lbs.

It is nice but very hard to put the legs in place. Don't want to take it apart after you put it together.

Lots of people complain about it being hard to assemble. The trick is to use your foot to flex the crossbar, and use your hands to guide it into the hole. The other trick is to make sure the hole's opening is facing the same angle as the crossbar end.  When taking it apart, lay it upside down, put your feet on the long bars, use two hands to pull out the crossbars, one hole at a time. They are under tension and can hurt you if you do not control them. Wrap one set of the three bars that fit together to make the sides into the canvas, the other set of three outside the canvas. It makes it easier to set up. I've had mine for 4 years, I set it up 10 times a year, and it works fine.  I use a blow up pad and a memory foam pad, it is very comfortable.

Assembly tips

I got this cot for my brother. who had limited space to spread out. The cheap bars weren't what they initially purported to be and weren't very comfortable. The cot gave my brother hip and back pains he never had before. My brother and I got some actual sleeper furniture that suited us both and suggest that anyone looking for everynight sleeper furniture seek the sleeper chairs/sleeper sofas.

Horrible for everyday use!

I had to cut two of the frame poles, They were to long and i ripped off one of the straps you use to stretch the canvas onto the frame, I had to cut a 1/4 inch off  of two poles, I would not recommend this product,  If i have to buy another cot i will spend a little more money for one of better quality

Frame Poles Were Too Long

Wasn't what I thought they would be. Sit very low to the ground and not very wide. Would have a very hard time rolling over

I should have went with my gut on this but now am out the money I spent for it. I bought it to be used when my grand kids came to visit. My one grand son who is 8 years old slept on it. He said that he would have been better off sleeping on the floor than the cot. It started to droop down in the middle for no reason. One of the metal rods started to bend. Now mind you my grandson is only 8 and weighs about 55lbs. No one every jumped on it or anything like that. The fabric material started to unravel and I got so darn frustrated at it that I threw it in the trash. It was a total waste of my money. Lesson learned, never buy anything cheap just to save a few bucks.

I should have sent it back to get my money back but I completely forgot about it.

This was purchased by my son after saving his money. His weight is around 100 pounds give or take 5. He is a scout and was so excited to be getting one for his campouts. The directions were one picture that we impossible for a kid. The wholes were off so it didn't fit together as it showed on the instructions. The wires for keeping cot off the ground were about 6 inches wider. It took me and my husband to pressure force them in place. The poles when modified to match up the holes, it still didn't want to stay together. The fabric is off as to not being able to keep from sliding down.

Our son was really sadden by this. We taught him how to make adjustments himself. We did try on 3 different occasions to call the number provided but no one answered. Yes I know Wal-Mart would have refunded the money. Our son had worked so hard and felt so accomplished. We felt it was better to make lemonade and teach him nothing is impossible if you give it your all. So with dad's ingenuity and mom's sewing ability and both our muscles. We found the silver lining. I will never ever buy a product made from this company again.

Total piece of junk. 1800 would not answer

I would not recommend this cot for anyone. The width of it is so small that an average adult could not fit comfortably on it. It does not hold adult weight like it says and every time you move you feel like you're going to fall. Cheap cheap cheap!

Very cheap and very unsturdy

Once  assembled the cot was comfortable enough, for a cot. But, it is extremely difficult to assemble unless you have superhuman strength. Putting the legs into the  holes and removing the legs is extremely difficult.  We were using these  for a backpacking trip and decided that a blowup mattress would've been much better  as they are heavy as well for backpacking.
