The Elite Of Sound At A Wonderful Price

great for relaxing and listening to a record or playing the FM radio. Perfect for background noise but also capable of a volume that can really reach out. Not going to blow you away, not going to shake anything off of a wall. Great speakers for maybe having a glass of wine and listening to a Billie Holiday LP. Worth the money, sound good, plenty loud enough to make apartment neighbors complain... I have mine  laying on their sides(power button up) with the covers off.

Nice Speakers

These speakers are very good for what I wanted, which is just to play my old vinyl records.   They are also a good size so if I don't want to keep them on the floor or on top of a cabinet, I can put them on their side inside a cabinet.   Good volume and sound, good price.

Perfect sound for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these speakers to go along with my audio technica record player. They are working great so far. Have a very nice clear sound and I like that it comes with a little remote so I can control the volume from it.

Great sound

packaged well and easy to set up~coming with RCA cable and mini plug to RCA. You get enough speaker wire for most situations/distance of separating the speakers etc. Handy remote for muting and adjusting volume. I simply plugged the mini jack out from my TV/monitor into the AUX input via RCA and that was it... set everything up prior to turning on power etc, like connecting the speaker wire and that's it. Like the picture shows there is a PC input/RCA and Aux input via RCA.

Great value and quality sound for most situations

Out of the box, the wooden enclosure provides a warm, rich sound that belies their compact size. The 42 Watts RMS offers plenty of headroom for near-field listening without distortion.

The real star here, however, is the "s" in the model name. The dedicated subwoofer line-out is a game-changer. While the speakers handle mids and highs with clarity, pairing them with a dedicated sub transforms them into a full-range 2.1 system that rivals much more expensive setups.

If you are looking for accurate sound reproduction that allows for easy expansion later, these are the best value on the market. Highly recommended.

Punchy little monitors with a crucial upgra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good option for someone who's getting small speakers or just starting out getting into music but it's good for space in a tight room and great audio quality.

These speakers sound fantastic, but they are small - so it is definitely best to use the sub out and add a good subwoofer if you want strong bass.  The treble and mid range sounds excellent.

Great bookshelf speakers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Edifier R1280TS has excellent sound and great controls. The remote control allows you to turn the speakers on, adjust the volume, and even mute. Or you can turn on by pressing the end of the volume knob on the side of one speaker, and above that are treble and bass knobs. This is perfect for me because it has inputs for two devices, so I connected a phonograph and a CD player, and it will play either (or both at the same time) without having to switch between them like some speakers. Note that there are only two sets of RCA inputs on the back, so you can't connect optical audio from the back of a TV or a mobile phone without an adapter.

Easy connection to 2 devices %26 great remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Edifier R1280T Good treble but falls a little short on bass but the sound has good clarity. They are not very loud but good enough for what I wanted them for.  All in all, they are worth the money.
