These are great racks. Perfect for my stereo equipment in my bedroom. I have nice wooden shelves already but the a/v system outgrew it. This rack is wider, deeper, and taller with another shelf. Can also space them how you want. Simple to assemble, just fit the parts together and seat them with a few taps from a rubber mallet. Can also use a hammer with a block of wood or a folded up rag to protect the finish when you bang it together. I  3 of these. First one took about 30 minutes. Last one about 15. Like I said, simple!

Great Rack!

This is a very heavy duty shelving unit.  It's perfect to use in my shed outdoors for extra heavy objects.  It took a bit of time to put it together.  One suggestion I have is to place a 1" X 12" long piece of wood along the side of the rail.  Tapping it all across will make the job easier to push down the rails into the slots where they go.  I am very happy with this purchase.

Heavy duty shelving unit

They tend to be a little bit warped which makes them a little challenging to put together firmly, but I love how sturdy they are, and they were the perfect size for all the places I wanted to put them.

A Little Warped, but Perfect Size and Sturdy

These shelves assemble easily and they work well.  I  have a number of them around the house.   They are well made and very durable.  You will need a large rubber mallet to assemble them.  Do NOT use a metal hammer, only a rubber mallet.

Note that the uprights are half the height of the unit.  On the shorter shelves there is a splice plate that can interfere with your desired shelf placement.  On their taller units the ends are butted together and secured with a shelf.

Great shelving.  I have several of these.

Pros
- sturdy and solid

Cons
- Difficult to set it up. The instructions said to tap gently to fit the joints, but a "gentle" tap is not enough. you need to hit it really hard to fit it. I live in an apartment and it was surely a trouble for my neighbors.
- it is difficult to lift it up to move it, because the joints keeps poping out. I would rather fix it with bolts and nuts to fix it in place.

Sturdy and solid. But a hasslet to setup

I liked everything about this shelf.  Except, the odor from the wooden shelves was overpowering.  May have been the glue in the shelf construction.  It was a little much.  But it worked fine in my storage closet.  I let it air a few days and it was better.  It holds a lot for a small shelf!  Would buy it again.

I've seen a few YouTube videos on this product because the instructions don't have a lot of detail and are a bit confusing on some parts. The instructions also mention "tap lightly" to have the rivets set in place. The rivets don't even fit in the holes, I have to hit it pretty hard and that didn't even work on some of the brackets. I can tell it's sturdy so it would be great if all the rivets had fit.

Appears sturdy although the brackets to add additional posts do not fit. I tried several times to make them work to no avail. Would not recommend

Support Failure

The description is deceptive.  I was unpleasantly surprised to see that the shelves themselves are not steel.  They are particleboard, only 3/8" in thickness.  So the shelves will lose their strength if they accidently get wet.

Buyer Beware

This is not the same product as a muscle wrack shelf I purchased off Amazon a few years back. The brackets are cheap, and make assembly impossible. It feels very flimsy in comparison to the other shelf. I'm embarrassed to have wasted my husbands time and money attempting to put it together. No idea how to return it. One of the shelves broke in the assembly process.
