Assembly

a little difficult to assemble but ultimately a sturdy and spacious shelf. my garage is so much more organized now!

Should have 2 people to put together it makes it easier but once the things were hammered in good its feels very sturdy.

This unit was shipped without the 8 C posts, but after a phone call, they were shipped out quickly. So I give Edsal a 5 for service.
As for the unit itself, after construction it is pretty sturdy and handles storage of heavy items well, but there are some issues: 
1) Midway through construction, you'll probably need a second person to help prop up the upper half's posts as you connect edges. The upper C posts kind of stand on-end to the ones below. 
2) Nothing truly snaps into place -- the unit relies as much on gravity as it does any semi-tight fitting together of pieces. 
3) Because of "2)", I very much advise building this in the spot you use it in, because it's hard to move after building it. The pieces become unlocked very easily. This is not a shelf you can build and just move on a whim whenever. You'll need two people to hold it at its base and reposition gently, and after moving, checking all the connections.

Sturdy but difficult to assemble and move around

I have bought several different models of shelving. This one was the most frustrating one to put together.

Too much of a pain

Like other reviewers this set was not as well made as other products from this company. I returned.

The upper and lower sections for upright assembly are difficult to align. The shelves are too big, providing no margin of error in the alignment of the frame. I had to resort to a sledge hammer to get shelves down into the frame, which still did not make the frame square.  A conceptually simple assembly that should have required no more than 15 minutes required more than an hour.  I would not buy another product from Edsal.

Disaster to assemble

It is so cheap it is impossible to put together. It is not cut well.
