This inverter/generator is perfect for a camping trip and it would be useful at home during a temporary power outage. Its not large enough to power a whole home but it will keep a refrigerator running and charge your electronic devices until the power is restored. The directions were easy to read. Just add oil and gasoline and you've got power.

Shipped for free and had it in 3 days. Box was well packaged and the generator looks great and is well designed. It doesn't come with oil but the manual does say to add quality 4 stroke oil before starting. I've owned portable generators before and you need to take care of them. I added premium Amsoil and 93 octane non-oxygenated top tier fuel. I love the built in gas guagr. Turned on and lightly pulled one time. Then pulled again and it started right up and ran beautifully.  I'm very impressed!

Great looking reliable portable generator

Starts easy and runs very quiet.  One word of warning. Make sure you add sufficient oil.  Must be up to the opening.  It will start and run a few seconds before stopping, meaning the oil level was marginal even though I got a reading on the dip stick. So far it looks like I made a good choice.

This is an awesome product for the price. It really can't be beat. It's lightweight super quiet, very efficient and again an awesome value for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research on a inverter generator I decided to pull the pin and buy the Efurden 2500 Generator, put in some fuel, filled the oil and gently pulled the recoil rope to oil the working parts, not even half a pull on the rope and she was off and running like a champ. Compared to all the other generators I own this thing is quiet, I let it run on my porch and we can hear is a slight hum from my chair right next to the door. let it run a hour, now I'll change the oil and I'm ready to go. I couldn't be more pleased. Im gonna buy my son and daughters familys both one.

This Generator is everything its advertised to be.

I am highly impressed with this unit especially at the sale price. It is quieter than other genrators I have owned/used.  In fact, it was so impressive that I bought a second one! I intended to get the parallal kit but haven't because it is apparently a generic and not brand specific. I intend to keep them to run my refrigerator and chest freezer during long electric outages using one per appliance. Operation is quite straightforward with various outlets for  our modern devices. I can also pair it with my MEP/solar system for longer duration energy outages. The weight is bearable for my old worn out back. Handy and sleek are good descriptors of this unit. It is also quite miserly on fuel as I have run them both dry for standby storage and it took a lot longer than I thought. These are an excellent buy.

Great deal. Everyone needs one.

This was easy to get running. Filled with oil, pulled the cord a couple of time and it fired up.  Tested it during the break in by running my fridge and recharging my power stations.  One recharged at 300 watts, the other at 1200 watts. Ran for over 3 hours on a gallon of gas. Noise is not excessive, and it is possible to have a normal conversation even when the generator was under load. I don't expect this to last a generation, but it's planned purpose is to recharge the power stations I will use to keep refrigerator and other electric on during an outage. If it saves the contents in the fridge just once, it's more than paid for itself at this price. Might not be the generator I'd choose to run 24/7, but considering it ca recharge all 3 of power stations and keep me operational for a whole day with less than 90 minutes of run time to recharge, it fits my planned use perfectly! If you see it for less than $300, jump on it.

Quieter than most, fuel efficient, and just works!

I bought the inverter simply to run my table saw and my miter saw. Having them both plugged in and available for use with the power of the Efurden Generator allows me power through my day without worry. It claims to be super quiet, but that's totally not true. Low noise, yes. But does it work and is it worth it? It certainly does and it certainly is! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a workable generator/inverter.

Not super quiet, but super handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice generator. It's very much like all the others of similar size that aren't made by Honda, and it was the least expensive of those at the time I bought it.  So far it's just had a test run: start, set eco mode, apply a load, increase the load, and shut down after a few minutes. No problems, and the sound isn't particularly loud or irritating. Nice feature: there's a fuel gauge. Minor annoyance: checking or adding oil requires removal of two screws, and then it's easy to pour in too much and cause a spill due to the awkward angle. Also, the printed documentation is minimal. Still, a good purchase; and I'll hope it continues to perform well when needed.

Might as well get this one

This is a nice generator in terms of size weight and loudness. However, it states that it delivers 1800 W of continuous power. When I ran it with a device requiring 1600 W, this generator turned off. Apparently it does not deliver 1800 W of continuous power as advertised. So if you need a generator with this necessary capacity go for something higher wattage.

Doesn't deliver 1800 W.

I received it, set it up and started it. It worked fine until the next day when I needed it. It would start in choke mode but when I turned it to run it shut off. Tried repeated times with the same results. I want to return it. A new unit should operate! I have used generators for years. There is something wrong with thisp one. A new one should work
