Battery Life

I bought the smaller 2.5 amp hour battery for my backpack sprayer to help compensate for the weight of the sprayer and 4 gallons of spray. The battery provides more than ample power for several tanks of spray. If I need more battery time than the 2.5 provides, I can pop my 5.0 battery in and keep spraying.

Excellent battery

egopowerplus.com

I learned that Louisiana Heat is BAD for Battery Life and Longevity!!! Keep the batteries as cool as possible. Learn how best to store batteries with regards to charge and optimal temperatures! I bought this battery to replace one that I failed to protect from heat and storage!

Great Light weight Battery for hand tools!

Holiday sale got this 2.5A battery with purchase of leaf blower. So nice to have a lighter weight battery for when I just have a quick job to blow out the garage. It doesn't last too long in the powerful Ego leaf blower but that's fine. I have the 5A battery for when doing the whole yard.
The “fuel gauge” is handy to get a quick look at battery life.

Extra battery on hand

This battery came bundled with the trimmer that already had a 4 hour battery included. But I have found, for my yard at least, the 2.5 hour battery has plenty of juice if I use the level 1 power setting, and that obviously makes the trimmer lighter for me to use.

It's a battery. It works.

I was skeptical but because the EGO systems ranked high on battery powered I thought I would try to get away from gas and I can cut my yard very early in the morning as the neighbors cant hear it. I have not been disappointed with the products! Fast charging batteries, Holds the charge well on 1/4 acre yard with juice to keep going. I guess now I will not return to gas!

Power++

Just got it and only used it once. Seems to work just fine. The true test will be time. I purchased an off-name brand last time and I don't think it lasted 2 years. I still have one of the original batteries that is still working fine. I hope the quality of this battery is just as good.

SO FAR SO GOOD

My 7-year-old EGO battery gave up, and I purchased a new 2.5 AH replacement. I had forgotten how long batteries last after a full charge. Plus, the fuel gauge is a real benefit to assessing the remaining power after use. Highly recommend the new EGO batteries.

Upgrade to New 2.5 AH Battery

This smaller battery was a bonus with my purchase....It's much lighter than the 4.0 which is perfect for me. The larger one was tiring, but I was able to finish my entire yard without being exhausted....

Smaller but better

I got this so my wife could handle the weight of the EGO blower. It is much lighter than larger Ah batteries and has plenty of power for short usage of the blower.

Great battery for light weight use

The capacity is terrible. Batter dies after just 10-15 minutes of use. Would not recommend and the price of the large batteries is unaffordable. Wish I could return all of my ego products just because of how bad the capacity is on the battery and how exerted other larger batteries are that I cannot afford. Gas is cheaper, go figure.

Terrible run time

Ego POWER+ 2.5 AMP HOUR BATTERY BA1400 with ARC Lithium™ technology, designed for reliable performance in power tools. Features a compact black and green design and compatibility with all EGO outdoor power equipment.
