Square bowls work great for soup/broth or milik from cereal; it may sound funny, but the corners funnel the liquid to your mouth with no worry of spills. Haha...

Elama 16pc stoneware

I love this plate set! It has a beautiful design and the colors went well with another plate set I had. The plates are a bit heavy so I do need to be careful when I wash them but for special occasions, it is worth it. I
