Some of the criticisms from other buyers are valid but it's worth the price. I can deter my dog from barking from up to 50'.  Closer works better but it does the job. When I first saw 'barxbuddy' it was offered elsewhere by a 'dog trainer' who said he'd developed it to help him in his work. It was 5X more expensive than this one.  I bought this one because it was labeled 'barxbuddy', looked just like the one I first saw

First anti barking device I have had that works!!  Stops him for barking right away.   Have another that sits on a shelve that goes off when he barks, he just ignores it completely.  This one stops him in his tracks.  He is learning to listen the command no much better.

Highly recommend this product.

Effective at stopping barking.

I'm so disappointed when I got the item and it was not included the battery. The battery is not an usual battery everyone has at home. Its one of those 9V special batteries I bought about $18 to use at my device. The device itself works great on my dog and its the only reason I did not return it, but the quality of the item is not worth $9   $18 (for battery). The very first day the holder part torn up .

It doesn't include battery and it cost $17-18

If I could give this no stars I would. Other than taking up space, it does nothing. The dog doesn't even blink. I have another one, different brand, and he stops immediately whatever he's doing.

Worthless

Looked just like the one I borrowed from my daughter which was $30. It has a red light light in between the 2 regular lights. Didn't help the barking from my Maltese. Will return.

Don't Stop my Dog from Barking

does nothing.  there is a flashlight part, that works. but as far as quieting a dog, or even getting her attention, nope. nothing.   she doesnt even look at me when i click it. its like its not working. I bought two, one for a friend but neither one work on my dog.
