The machine works well. The instruction booklet is a little vague though. For instance, you can spiralize OR mandolin chop depending on the direction you shift/turn the top. You'll see two gray marks on the lid and wonder what they're supposed to align with. If you look at the sides of the feed tube you'll barely spot a curly marking on one side and a wavy mark on the opposite side. Push the shift button and turn in the direction of the arrow. The top will click into position with one of the marks aligned with either the curly of mandolin chop mark. Shift again, and continue turning and it will line up with the other mark. They left that part vague in the instructions and it was only after examining the top that I spotted those 2 curly/wave marks on the feed tube (in white ink), and they line up with the 2 gray marks. After that discovery, I was sailing along with squash, zucchini, and cucumbers. I was having fun and wishing I had more veggies to play with.

yes, it works, but you should figure out first how to make the machine operate properly.  The manual does not explain this clearly. Fortunately,  PatB wrote a very helpful review. Thanks, PatB.

I have tried to make it spiral zucchini or anything all it does is chops it up or slices it no directions whatsoever just use blade number 4

i don't know if i do not used right but i can not make spiral the zucchinni
