However, this Electrolux vacuum is superior to our old favorite for many reasons, battery life being the only exception. This vacuum is more powerful and has more robust connections between the main unit and the attachments. I love the light feature. The charging doc with storage for the attachments is a step up from our Dyson. It is also easier and more convenient to switch from a floor head to the smaller nozzle with this vacuum, which I do often. Bonus: it also looks nice! I will be reaching for this vacuum over the Dyson. The battery life does seem to be a bit shorter than our Dyson, however it's not a big deal since the second battery is always ready to go!

What I like about it:
•It's easily accessible to use.
•It's relatively light in weight.
•Our grandkids can easily use this to quickly help clean up!
•It's quiet.
•It has 3 speeds.
•It cleans hard-to-reach areas under furniture much easier than any other vacuum I've owned!
•It has a light that illuminates those dust bunnies. 
•It makes cleaning up crumbs under the dinner table and along baseboards in kitchen a breeze!
•It has a head attachment that can be used for both hardwood floors and carpeting. 
•It has a second fully charged battery to quickly switch to, if need be.
•It has a filtering system that keeps dust out of the air.
•It's easy to clean out the bin, although I do wish bin had a bigger capacity. 
Overall, it's a great vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best vacuums I have ever owned.  The attachments will never be lost.  It has two batteries so one is always ready.  The power is unbelievable.  I highly recommend this vacuum.

I bought this for our new house and have it set up in the basement for the 1200 ft2 area down there.  Works well on hardwood and carpet, although the carpet is a bit hard to push through, so I'd probably suggest it on a very low pile carpet.  We have 3 animals, and it catches all the hair and fluff. 
The filtration is really good and though I have yet to use all the attachments, I won't have to go hunting for them throughout the house as they are all on the stand. Very handy and well designed.  

It's light, though I wonder if they could make an extended handle for tall people.  Next innovation idea for you. I'm 6'3 and  I have to stoop a little to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our 34 year old filter queen, and needed it to be less like a tank (it was heavy), however, able to do the same job. So we surfed the internet for cleaning systems and read and watched a ton reviews for so many systems. In the end, we decided on the Ultimate Complete Home Vacuum by Electrolux. We have been using it now for a while; an I am not sure why we didn't do it sooner. It is so lightweight and sucks up that dust and our fur-babies leavings with such ease. And doing steps is no longer like a scheduled event, as it barely takes 5min or less to do both flights of stairs. Oh and all those attachments and other power nozzles... they are great on our hardwood floors and even our couple of throw rugs...the long and short of it, cleaning is so much simpler now and mush faster. If there was any cons about the whole system, it would have been the videos on the site, when you click on a system to observe it...like we did with the complete home vacuum, it should shown the item we bought, since we "thought" we were buying the one with the UV bed attachment. But it turns out we received the bed power nozzle accessory without the UV light. All in all it is an awesome and well made product and it cuts cleaning time tremendously. Highly recommended.

Bought the Ultimate800 to replace our Filter Queen

And I give it major extra point for having a designated place to house each attachment when not in use! While the capability is not quite that of a corded vacuum, it's ease of use definitely makes up for it!

The charging base and attachment holder is a really good addition, as I usually lose attachments.  My only feedback would be that the dirt collection compartment is somewhat small. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed in the vacuum, especially after having an Electrolux for almost 30 years. I've had this expensive vacuum for less than O9 months and the battery life does not even allow me to completely vacuum one floor of my 2000 sq foot house before having the switch batteries. We have a dog and I cannot completely vacuum our bedroom without having to empty it sometimes twice (every 5 minutes). It doesn't pick up all the dog hair on carpet or hard floor. It pushes the dog hair to the back of the attachment so I have to go back and vacuum the path where the back of the vacuum stopped. I expected a lot more from Electrolux, especially for the price of this vacuum.
