It is just right size for the desk or bedside. I still have to get the bulb for it. I didn't see I needed to order the special lightbulb. You will love it.

Desk light!

This little lamp is perfect for lighting the keyboard of my computer.  The little bulbs must be bought separately but are inexpensive and they do provide enough light.  I skipped that part when I read the description, and remedied it when the lamp got to my desk.  (ordered them) Besides that, the lamp is handsome.  The light works instantly  with a touch, and dims also.

I got this for my spouse who needed REAL light and sometimes just a hint of it.
This works especially well when you wear glasses and Don't want to hunt for the darned switch with the touch option.

Cute mini lamp, size is just what I'm looking for and like the touch dimmer/ on/ off control base. 
The reasons for 3 stars are, it didn't come with the bulb as supposed to, since it was shipped to California address, as described on the specification: " It comes with a CFL bulb if it is shipped in the state of California" , and the lamp's base is kind of odd, because the G 16.5 bulb I bought didn't work on the lamp, but it worked on my old decorative lamp, so I had to switch the bulb, the old bulb for the new lamp and the new bulb for the old lamp. Hopefully it won't give me a problem when I need to find a replacement bulb later on.

It is a nice looking lamp, however there are some design flaws. One of the 2 lights I purchased would flash and strobe when turned on. The other was fine with the same bulbs, however it seems to change brightness on its own. I have it set for nightlight but when I get up, it is bright. So frustrating.

Only 1 of 2 worked

My teenage daughter is in love with the look of this lamp so I keep trying yo grt one that will work for her. Sadly we returned the first one we received and the replacement isnt any better. The first one stopped working after we tried to straighten the light bulb while the light was off, but plugged in. The manual says in bold print to make sure the light is unplugged before taking the bulb in or out but my teen didnt know that and just turned the light bulb a little since it looked crooked. The lamp stopped functioning altogether since there is no other way to turn it on than by touch. We returned that one and received the replacement today. The touch feature only works once out of every 20 or so times you touch this lamp. So we got the lamp to come on, eventually, then get brighter, eventually, and finally to the brightest setting but when my daughter tried to turn it iff to go to sleep, the touch-feature wouldnt turn it off no matter how many times we tapped it. I cant decide if we are going to go for "third times a charm" or not because this is so annoying.
