This Smart tv has been great to me and my kids. Had it for 6 month and used it as a spare for computer and gaming mostly. Took a free hits and spilled pops and still works great for the price this is an excellent TV

Great value!!

First of all, I do not usually do reviews, but I feel like I need to for this. When I saw this in the store, it was on sale at an excellent price for a 'smart' TV. Impulsively, I bought it. It assembled no problem, but setting up the picture was painful. It is very back-lit, meaning very bright. It is difficult to adjust the bright and contrast to get something that is not distracting (either too bright or too dark). The presets didn't help much. I eventually managed to set it up so it is watchable now. As for the 'smart' aspect, you cannot get the internet proper on it. It has some preset apps, including a rather horrible movie channel. Some apps do not work. I contacted Element about this by phone (after their live chat didnt respond) and was told that the Accuweather server was 'down' and that is why I am unable to get that one to work. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars and not 2 is because you can get Youtube, which is great for watching walking videos when I am on my elliptical. *Element tech support leaves a lot to be desired, too.

Somewhat disappointing.....

I purchased this TV a few months ago and it is the biggest mistake ever. It constantly cuts out and freezes up. Even shuts off randomly. Extremely delayed when turning the volume up and down. No way to do system updates. It's constantly kicks you off of Netflix. You can't even watch a 30 minutes show without it booting you off.
Not worth the money.

DON'T BUY IT

We bought this TV on a Boxing Day sale because it was a great price for a SmartTV. Had I known that it was going to be such a piece of junk I would have just paid more for a brand name television. It constantly freezes and has to be turned off. Sometimes it doesn't even turn off when it's frozen and has to be unplugged from the wall. Netflix audio will sometimes jump back ten minutes while the video continues streaming as normal... so the audio and visual are ten or so minutes apart and Netflix has to be restarted to correct. The remote takes forever to respond. The wifi randomly disconnects and then we have to manually set up the connection again. This TV may seem like a great deal, but ITS NOT! Do not waste your money on it.

Terrible quality

Always freezing and glitching, some times glitches and whole screen pixelates, when it freezes the audio track gets thrown off. You can only use the apps that came with the tv so the only useful app is netflix... I just bought this tv a couple months ago and really regret it.. what a waste of money.

Awful

Bought this TV a year ago and now have to buy a replacement.  A complete nuisance product.  The network used for the smart features (Netflix, Youtube etc.) disconnects frequently and requires you to search again for an available network then re-enter the network password each and every time.

Junk - Do not buy

I bought this tv in November. The "Smart" TV does not save the Wi-Fi login which is annoying since it turns off on its own. It also becomes pixeled and you cannot watch anything. You can hear the voices but the screen goes black. Would have loved to take it back but wasn't able to since we bought it in November and didn't set it up until Christmas.

Not recommended

Turns itself off all the time. Remote takes forever to respond. Freezes and picture pixilates in the middle of anything!!!

Junk

Save up, spend an extra 100 bucks and get a good tv, this was worse than our 10 year old tv, sound was awful, and picture was washed out. Took it back the next day.

Dont

I had this tv for almost 2 years and today I turn it on the light is on but there is nothing on my screen and no sound at all. I tried my best to gather all the resources I need to atleast help me, I even call the element customer service but all he said was “Im sorry that is already a defect” ok so what am I supposed to do!?? It is not like I dropped it or I over use it! I take care my stuff! So please don't but this for your own sake!
