The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because of the difficulty to build. I run Summer camps and have actually built dozens of these tanks with my campers. When it's built correctly, they have a blast. Building this toy tank requires a high degree of delicate attention to detail. One small mistake made (screw not tightened firmly or wrong screw / nut used, etc.) at the beginning can cause the whole toy to not work. Since I have put so many of them together I have and idea where the checks need to be made when campers are building them. What a new user of this product needs to know is your child needs to be an excellent problem solver and/or read & follow directions to the letter, or both. It is very easy for them to get the different fasteners mixed up and use the wrong ones. Adult supervision while the student or child builds their robot is recommended. And the adult needs to be hands-on and check everything the student does. All fasteners (especially the tapping screws) need to be firmly and securely attached. If not, you run the rick of gears not lining up and seating correctly. Which, in turn, will not make the tank run correctly. Lastly, you can do an internet search and get these much cheaper than $70 each. I've seen them as low as $30. Anyway, if done right, they are a great toy but you need to commit at least 4-5 hours of quality build time for these. Good luck in what you decide.

Cool Toy!

This was on my son's Christmas list, so I was very excited to buy it for him.
It was rather hard to put together. There were missing pieces and broken pieces in the kit.
After all that hard work putting them together, one of them ended up not working!
It was very frustrating for my son and he is 11 years old and can put many things together by himself usually.
