I love the strength of the racks. Bought 3 and they have worked out great. They were easy to assemble and mount on the Yukon XL.. One of the straps that comes with the rack was not working and they promptly sent me a new one in time for our 1st trip of the season.

I was expecting to have to pay a lot more than I did, which was a great thing for a single mom of a special needs child on a VERY tight budget. Not cheaply made and easy to install too! Definitely would buy again! Planning on buying a second kayak so I WILL be back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loads my kayak and works great. Te carriage bolts provided were about 1/2" short. Other than that is great and loos great.

Going fishin'

Good, sturdy racks.  The only difficulty we've had was with the initial installation on our cross bars.  We were unable to get them to tighten down securely.  A little jerry rigging solved that problem.

Yak rack

I purchased 2 sets Apex kayak carriers. Put them together, then when I went to attach them to the roof rack, one set broken wouldn't stay on the roof rack... The other set did stay on the roof rack...

2 sets Apex kayak carriers- 1 set broke 1 not broken..
