[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how quickly it heated up the pan and 2 is quite enough heat to cook anything. They are meant for smaller fry pans or sauce pans. They are light weight and is made of good quality. We were thinking it was so sleek and light weight it would be great to carry it along on camping trips. Glad we got this. It is not complicated to use at all.

Sleek and light weight

Maxi-Matic

Purchased this hot plate about 1 1/2 years ago, it is my sole method for cooking, single male here living in rooming houses. Sometimes I cook on it one to two times maybe three times a day, never had no problem. I really appreciate the indicator lights. Fixing to purchase a new one for safety reasons only. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours and I have mine.

Wow!! 1 1/2 years old and still working good.

We bought this to conserve propane usage in our travel trailer when hooked up to full-service electrical connections, and we love it...well, my wife does. She's the one that has used it. We just got back from a 10 day camping trip and she raved about it constantly. Definitely a solid must-have for RVs and Campers. She didn't have a single complaint about it. Two Thumbs Up!!!

Excellent Little 2-Burner Cook Top

This unit replaced one I had for the last 7 years. I use my hotplate every day.
I was pleasantly surprised by the EDB-302BF unit. It heats up much quicker than the old one. Temperature control is as expected for a cast burner, slow to change. I tested the wattage and the big burner draws 964w the small burner 487w on max. Once you reach temp. the burner cycles on and off at the max draw rate. The on time is what changes. Hope that helps. I like the unit, it does what I need.

Better Than Expected

I bought the Elite Cuisine electric double burner to create a portable work space for soapmaking and it worked perfectly! I was able to quickly heat water for my double boiler in no time and it held the temperature perfectly. This is my first time using it, so I'm curious to see how well it holds up, but based on how well it's made I can see myself using it for a while.

Perfect for portable set-ups!

Im Very satisfied its a great product! My stove top went out and its a great replacement until I can get a new one. It heats up pretty well much better than ones I have tried in the past. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

Great Buy

Disliked: very small, burner tops are smaller than on my previous electric one.
Liked: seems to heat more quickly than my previous electric one.

If you are used to gas then this will probably appear to heat slowly. However, if you are used to electric then it will probably appear to heat relatively quickly.

happy so far

This is a good buy - was purchased to temporarily replace broken stove/oven. Slow to heat water to boiling at FIRST - but with use, seems to get hot faster. Sometimes trips breaker if both burners are on high, but have adjusted my cooking routine to avoid that. Would recommend with a little patience -this is a great substitute. Compact (fits on a standard Walmart wooden TV tray perfectly =)

Great stove substitute for single person

Works well the only problem was the packaging looks like I got a returned item .the cord and directions were poorly done y someone nothing eas as it should be.. the smell you get when first using electric appliance was not there. But it works and looks ok.

May be a returned before

I never got to use this. The box and the burner were heavily damaged. I returned it to the store. I didn't want to pay shipping, so I bought another type at the store.
