I like this steamer - you can't buy one at the store anymore. it's perfect for 1-2 portions and I like the "keep warm" feature for the rice. I've used it quite a bit since I bought it and I think it will prove to be pretty reliable. Easy clean up too.

Good for price

Excellent for cooking small quantities of rice.
Switches from "cook" to "warm", which is helpful since it is not necessary to set a timer.

Good value

I use this cooker to warm up my lunch instead of microwave at work. Works great! Steam tray would be better if it's a little deeper, though.

Elite Gourmet ERC 003ST   6 cup rice cooker

This is the right size and very nice, except it isn't non stick. Even though I oiled the cooking pot, the rice sticks a lot. Not for me.

Rice Sticks!

OK, this is not my first rice cooker. I barely used this rice cooker after buying it, less than 30 uses to be accurate. I was cooking rice today then I saw that the light went off, I thought it was the circuit breaker or whatever, but it was not, it was the rice cooker. Well, Walmart only offer 90 days for returns. I guess I need to buy a new one, but not this kind, for sure!

Gone in few uses...

The water tub and the steamer tray is made of cheap aluminum that turns black with use. Elite tried to tell me it was due to being put in the dishwasher, which it was not. The black is where the food touched the steamer tray and the water touches the tub.

The coating that was on it when new made it look like a good product..Great product if you want to poison your family.(slowly that is)

Elite will not stand behind faulty product

I used this rice cooker one time following the directions to the minute.  The rice was NOT done and although I turned the cook function on several times the end product was a disaster.  Now the rice cooker does not work at all, it does not even turn on.  Just a waste of money.  Rice cookers can be very helpful, just do not buy this brand.

A PIECE OF GARBAGE

Worst designed rice cooker ever maid. You would think you are buying a regular rice cooker but no some bozo decided to make sure the only way to shut this one off is to unplug it.
