I have had this same hydrator for 14 yrs. Its has worked great all these years. The only reason why I am buying another one now is because the trays are just now starting to break on the outer edges.  I was reading the only other review on this product and want to clarify the rotating part of this product. This product does not rotate in a circle on the hydrator; its so that you can rotate the trays as it cooks.

This dehydrator is one that works the best I think its the rotating rack which seems to dry the products more evenly. the trays can be switched around to ensure all your stuff gets done at the same time. cleans up easy quiet I've had my original for over 5 years now and just purchased another one to increase my productivity . little cost to run. trays fit in dishwasher just make sure you have it on NO HEAT as this may warp the trays otherwise just set them in as you would plates. Its a great  gift too and it wont break you at the register. This is my summery Jojo...

I paid for a Maxi Matic Elite Gourmet 5-Tray Rotating Food Dehydrator, White but it's not Rotating

Why don't my Dehydrator Rotating

I purchased this item in August.   I had read the reviews and was impressed enough to buy it.   Less than 2 months of receiving the dehydrator, the on/off button, broke and literally fell off the machine.   Now I'm unable to return a product I thought would last years but due to poor craftsmanship, I'm stuck with a piece of plastic.   Not impressed!
