I have three of these......I love it as much as I do my crock pots.....easy one prep meals and easy clean up

I had an electric skillet that lasted me from the early 70's until last month.  I loved that skillet, would take it to camp to cook what didn't get cooked on the BBQ.  But it was over heating and needed to be replaced.  Since I purchased this skillet, I have used it most everyday, and love it.  Great for cooking stir fry, or frying fish etc.  It is non-stick so you can be oil free, but works also well with less oil.

The legs of the skillet became loose after a few months of use and we were unable to tighten the screws.  Eventually one screw fell completely out.  On further examination, the screws were not long enough and in substituting another in its place we discovered that there were no threads in the plastic.. At this point, the skillet is unusable.

Do not purchase!

This skillet is of very poor quality. Skillet part arrived dented and misshapen, so much so that lid would not fit correctly. First and second use proved that heating element and connector not constructed or assembled correctly either:  therm-connecter ill fitting and loose.  Both times used, food came out either under cooked or burned: pancakes and breakfast sausage. Nothing "Elite" or "Gourmet" about this item.
