Simple to set up and use for small events.

Had another buffet warmer for a few years.  Because we had such a large crowd for holiday dinners, I knew that having another one of these would be extremely helpful - it was.  Between the two buffet warmers, I had six trays.  One had turkey and ham slices, one was mashed potatoes, another was sweet potatoes, one was stuffing, cranberry conserve and scalloped potatoes.  This allowed me to put the food in warming trays and wash the baking dishes so there wasn't so much clean-up to do afterwards.  These were used for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I didn't spray any of the trays with Pam (although you can), but I had no problem with the food sticking.  The only thing you need to play with is the temperature adjustment.  If you plan on having the food in the trays for two hours or more, try to adjust the temperature at the lower end so your food doesn't dry out.  All in all, everything stayed nice and hot.

This works great!  This is perfect for all the parties I cook for for my husband's co-workers.  Don't let other reviewers dissuade you when they can't be bothered to read what they're buying.  The size is clearly stated.  Each individual serving tray holds 2.5 quarts.  The dimensions of the main body warming tray is 8 inches by 18 inches.  It seems wrong to give a low rating because someone couldn't take the time to read the item description.   This is a good product and serves the purpose it was made for.  I'm looking forward to trying out using the warming tray without the inserts to hold warm appetizers.

I tried it plug it in seems like it's what I need .

It was way smaller than anticipated. I took it out to use it for Thanksgiving yesterday. The pans are insanely small and the warmer was large enough for two pans. That didn't help at all. We were only hosting 16 people. I thought for sure this would be perfect. I'm going to return it for something larger.
