Remote

This Android TV v9 interface is better than the new 'Google TV' chromecast GUI; yes, this has HULU; the remote is pretty good (I wish it was IR instead of bluetooth); lots of connectivity/expandability slots

Best Buy 💯%!!!

This is a great Android TV box!
I have a Mi-Box and a 2nd Gen. fire tv box, and this out performs them in every way!
Expandable storage, Ethernet port, two USB ports, great WiFi, very easy to setup, pretty much plug n play! and last but not least the remote is very good!
So for anyone debating whether or not to purchase this device, do yourself a favor and buy it! you will not be disappointed!

So impressed with this device!

So overall not a bad box for the money. Loads nice, microSD card recognized and formatted right away.  It's a basic Android box. Main reason I bought it was to compare it against my 4K Firestick. Overall box performs great and so does my Firestick. Nice features about box...it turns off when not using, has expandable memory, has an Ethernet port. Things the Firestick does better...Firestick allows you to manually enter DNS settings when setting up network, Firestick remote syncs to your TV to control TV's power and volume (Box's volume controls just control output volume of the box not the actual TV volume), Box's remote doesn't have a dedicated pause button, Firestick's does.  Overall I am happy with the box but do wish they did a better job with the remote which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Works great so far

Looks good

First unit came in opened box, no batteries, broken case by previous user forcefully removing Ethernet cable and completely non-operational. Power supply was working but the unit did not come on.
Returned it to receive a replacement.
Second unit also came in an opened box, the cheap Chinese batteries were taped together with scotch tape. After turning on the unit, would not recognize the remote. One of the batteries was dead and visually swelled up. After inserting new batteries the unit operated properly.
During setup, it required me to provide Google account with no way to skip it. My smart TV plays Youtube without forcing me to sign in to Google.
After all this, the device operates well and plays Youtube smoothly.
I like the bluetooth remote because the device is hidden from view and it still works.
I do not like the remote's keys which are almost flat with the case and hard to sense without looking which is really hard in the dark.
In conclusion, the device works well if you have Google account and want to provide it.
I am disappointed with receiving two opened/non-operational devices requiring intervention. Paid for and expected new devices but received rejects/opened/returned items. This is horrible business practice causing dissatisfaction.
