love this product amazing image and everything using it for the fittest time today but I put an SD and memory card in it but it keeps saying that there isn't one in there???

The product is so-so.  It works fine, but the adjustment controls are not user friendly; the directions are not readily accessible with the product;  the recorded videos cannot be played on my PC because the protocol is not available.

I do not recommend this to anyone who has a serious need for a dashcam.

DP Video 2.5" HD DashCam

The unit itself works fine.  Price is right.  Instructions are horrible.  Very difficult to figure out how to save and store a video for later viewing.  The directions refer to buttons on the camera that do not exist.  I am hoping to find some instructions on youtube from someone that took the time to figure it out.   The instructions appear to have been translated from another language to English.  Some of it makes no sense.

Just started examining it but cannot find such expected menu items as exposure, cycle recording or auto recording. I only find the following items.

VIDEO: Size, Time Stamp, MotionDetect, Video Time, VoiceRecord, Format, Language, Auto Off, Sys.Reset, Light Freq, Date Input, USB

PHOTO CAPTURE: Size, Format, Language, Auto Off, Sys.Reset, Light Freq, Date Input, USB

AUDIO CAPTURE: Format, Language, Auto Off, Sys.Reset, Light Freq, Date Input, USB

PLAYBACK: Delete, Lock/Unlock, Thumbnail, Volume, Format, Language, Auto Off, Sys.Reset, Light Freq, Date Input, USB

Please let me know if I've overlooked something and I'll revise my rating accordingly.

Expected Menu Items Missing?

The manual was not very helpful. The video quality is fine. The unit I received worked for a short time and then it began to click on and off or freeze for a second. I will return it for a refund and find another camera that costs a bit more and which should be better in quality (and instructions).

Not the best quality

I got this a part of my husbands Christmas present. It will not charge up. I have written the company twice.  They responded by emailing me a pdf of the so called "instructions" that came with the dash cam. Which are of no help at all. If they help with this, I will repost. If not, we will be taking it back.

Disappointed.

This product is difficult is not impossible to set via the MENU screen.
    1: I could not set the recording time over one minute, so you have so many one minute video clips to surf through.
    2: You need a magnifying glass to read the instruction manual
    3 : The auto adapter not build very well and came apart after the first day of using it. 
    4: Difficult (Very Difficult if at all) to operate the MENU controls

dash camera issues

The night vision didn't work and the pictures you couldn't see anything wouldn't help you if you had an accident and the playback audio was terrible I couldn't understand a word.

Terrible video and inaudible audio.

The dash cam is a total bust. It will show video on the screen but will not record. It will not recognize the 32GB memory card at all even after formatting. It cant be the card as it works fine in the computer. The owners manual is a joke. The numbers of the buttons to push in the instructions is one off for the numbers in the descriptions of the button functions. There is no mention of tech support anywhere.
