Very easy to follow instructions going step by step to learn various embroidery stitches. Helpful information on needles, hoops, frames, thread, and fabric.  Would buy again - good go to reference book.

Easy to Understand Embroidery Book

I purchased this book because I am interested in learning to embroider but know nothing about it. This book contains instructions for many stitches and explains needles, fabrics, techniques, mounting, and even machine embroidery. It also contains an index of stitches, an illustrated stitch directory, and some simple projects. I plan to use this as a reference guide if I have difficulty understanding the instructions while attempting my first project. The book arrived by mail at my home. It was in a box and in excellent condition. I don't know if there are better books out there or not, but I figure for the price it is pretty good.

Basics for beginners
