I did not get to actually use it, but it came two days early which I was happy about since it is hot. But, I dropped it out the window while installing it (totally my fault because it is not that heavy). I ordered another one and will eat the cost of the first one, lol. I just had one of those days. I should have ate before I tried to install it. I think I was low on energy because I got a small one so I would be able to handle it but it fell right out the window because I didn't have a good grip on it. I liked the style of it and the old fashioned knobs. I did not want a fancy one for my home office. I just wanted something to keep me cool while I work at home. I have another one on the way. I will have a firm grip on it at all times, lol.

Great little unit !!!

works well

Just right for a small upstairs bedroom. It ran on low most of the summer, and it's perfect for those with older houses/electrical systems! I use it with a floor fan to help circulate the air because it's in a window of a dormer. I am a shiftworker, so having it cool in the summer during the day is a must! Weighs a bit less that my old window unit, that's why I got it, also. We're getting too old to haul those heavy A/Cs around!

Perfect for hot summers...

Does a good job cooling.  Only drawbacks are it is designed for standard windows and ours are a bit limited in terms of storm window flashing and even some flashing on the main window, so I needed a piece of wood to raise it up a bit.  It runs well, does make strange noises now and again, but it mentions in the manual that those are part of it's normal operation.   I think if I treat it well it will treat me well for years to come.

Nice little unit for the price.

LEasy to install comes with what you need and works well. I would definitely recommend this AC to others. It is for a small bedroom

Toooo noisy , esp on high! This is not a quiet air conditioner!! Not as loud on lower setting.  But it does the trick and cools off a small room nicely

Not quite but cooling effective .

Quiet cool? I just tried to sleep with it on and I had to get up to see if it was hailing outside! It wasn't.  There are about 3 different sounds coming out of this thing. There's the hum you expect, but then there's a crackling ice sound  and another sound like hail on a metal roof. It was too much. I couldn't relax. It's like when you notice the laugh track on a comedy and then that's all you focus on. Can't stand it! Never seen an AC make all this noise.

NOISY!!!

Bought this air conditioner and had it delivered four days ago, and it only worked the first night. By the next morning, nothing - not even the slightest hint of cold air. I've turned it off, unplugged it, and fiddled with the knobs - still nothing. I used the last of my money to buy this, never thinking even a cheap a/c wouldn't work straight out of the box. So, now I'm stuck with a FAN that cost me over $150.  I still have to figure out a way to return it without a vehicle, which is why I had it delivered in the first place. I am beyond disappointed with this purchase.

It Doesn't Get Cold
