This was a great buy.  we have a small apartment and during this summer we actually got our whole apartment to a Cooler Temperature.  And even during the Night Time Too!

I received this unit two days early which was fortunate.  I ordered it in the middle of a heat wave.  This unit is powerful and does the job.  The noise level is manageable.  All around, I have no complaints.  Thanks to Walmart!

Beat the Heat and Chill

The Emerson Quiet Kool is an excellent a/c unit it's very efficient and a excellent choice for night time operation and very effective on very hot days, it's a good investment!

"Keeping cool in heat and humidity".

Very nice air conditioner! Works great.  We just found out that new air conditioners don't have a drain hole, they have what the technician called evaporative technology ! Water fills the drain pan and then a "slinger" slings the water onto the coils to evaporate.  So not to worry when you install yours.

Easy to install and not too heavy.  I love that the directional louvers can be moved up and down as well as left and right.  My "spot" on the couch was always in the line of fire of my old unit so it was chilly for me but comfortable for everyone else.  Unit is fairly quiet (even with compressor and high fan on).  Keeps 1/2 of my house comfortable (kitchen/living room/den - about 600 square feet) so far.  Of course, we haven't hit the heat of summer yet.

Quiet and efficient

Order on Monday Aug 28, received via UPS on Aug 29, 2017. Was easy to install with extra foam insulation included  , made it air tight. . Its  performance was immediate cooling, and it was so quiet compare to other air conditioners we had in the past. This eas a good buy for the money.

Emerson Quiet Kool Window Air Condition

This thing gets COLD! Not quite as quiet as hoped. The compressor is extremely quiet. The fan is just a bit louder than expected. For 8000btu this little thing really does work well.

Good unit.

My first air conditioner was an emerson in 1987. Loved it. Finally got one again. It's been in use for 3 day's and the only thing is the economy setting turns off too soon for me. Probably good for other's. I have a high heat intolerance.

I will never buy a different brand of a/c again

IT WAS A GOOD REPLACEMENT WINDOW UNIT. 
IT FIT JUST RIGHT IN THE WINDOW.
IT COOLS THE HOLD HOUSE FAST.

How Emerson can get away with including the word "quiet" in the product's name is confounding. At least they have the good sense to spell "cool" "kool." No misspelling on quiet, they're saying this air conditioner is quiet. Heck, that's what it's called! "Quiet." Quiet it ain't. There are a cacophony of various sounds that emirate periodically. First there's the fans. That's just white noise,
