This clock is absolutely great. The instructions are easy to understand and the best function is that it resets itself after a power outage or if it's accidentally unplugged, I have not utilized the alarm function yet but I'm sure I will have no problems.

This Emerson Smart Set I found to be reasonably priced and excellent quality for a clock radio I have purchased previously. My time zone is EST. I plugged it in. I only had to set the radio station and it plays very clear. Automatically it flashed through the time, day of week, time zone and date. The LED shows bright. If it is as good as my previous Emerson Smart Set, it takes a lot of hard falls.

Great purchase

Needed a small, not-so-bright clock, for our living room, and this Emerson clock works very well for us. It is easy to set up (automatically brings up the current time) and has a dimmer so the brightness can be lowered as needed. Recommend this product!

Just what we needed!

My youngest needed a new alarm clock radio. The one her uncle purchased, from Radio Shack, finally stop functioning correctly...Lol.  This purchase was smart. All you have to do is plug it in and the time sets, AUTOMATICALLY!!!! The alarms were a little tricky to figure out because it had simply been SO MANY YEARS since we needed to purchase a new clock. EXTREMELY happy with the price and the product!!

Great Value

This little radio is amazing!! I wanted an old school radio that wasn't just a speaker that I had to keep connecting my phone to and this one is perfect. I was worried it wouldn't be able to get a signal but was able to get several channels clear. Here's to swinging on the porch listening to oldies Goldie's. Highly recommend

This product is advertised as great for seniors, mainly because when plugged in, it immediately sets to the correct time and is supposed to automatically change for saving and standard time, which is great.  However programming the alarm and radio station memory settings is quite challenging (exasperating!)  I do like the blue LED time readout with adjustable brightness, and after finally setting the alarm found the waking tone more than adequate (volume is adjustable, as well.)  The radio reception is adequate (there is an attached wire "antenna" that I haven't tried to utilize if I felt the need.)  I'd say the features on this clock radio alarm are a good value for the price, hope it lasts as long as my old radio (25 years!)

If you want a clock that is easy to set forget this one. I simply want a clock   that will automatically reset itself after outages or when we change to daylight saving time.  It  is easy to read that is all I can say.

Cheaply made,  like the old cliche say, you get what you pay for! I've purchased a  couple of Emerson electronics due to affordability. So far, once again I'm not that impressed.
Emerson, step up your consumer products quality at an affordable price.

I Give Up!

A clock radio with NO on/off button for the radio! Instructions say to use the on/off button so they were useless. Was not planning to use an alarm but could never figure out how to simply turn on the radio. Cheaply made. Hard to see button functions. May be fine if you just want to use a clock, but would not recommend for anything else.
