I have used Emtec flash drives for a few years now and I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. Perfect storage size and fast USB 3.1 at a great price - I mainly use them to store my movie back-ups. I recommend these to my friends all the time.

I received this free cute slide flash drive from home tester club. The capacity is large enough to transfer big files. The speed was pretty good and the transfer was fast enough that I was actually surprised! Pretty satisfied with this cute slide flash drive! :)

Convenient flash drive with big capacity

I like the hidden USB port, made from metal and not plastic. When the port is retracted it is about the size of a pink, rubber eraser. The appearance is sleek and pleasing to the eye.

I had no problems putting files, documents, pictures, music etc on the drive and then deleting them putting them back again, and reformatting the drive.

I say this product is really good and will be recommending the drive to them when I find out they are looking for a quality flash drive.

easy save

I was very excited to try #freeproduct #hometesterclub usb drive. Not everyone uses usb drives anymore because of change in technology but for me I am still old school and use this for work to maintain proper balance. I do half and half work from home and office so when I need documents I store them in my usb and carry that to my work and transfer and do back and forth. It's really convenient as it's very handy and is very small so fits anywhere. The good thing is it slides in and out. Like it

Great for work!

This USB stick is good as it doesn't lag when I filled it up with photos and videos. Unlike other USB flash drives that I tried, can't perform well if fully loaded with media files. Over all it is good and the only thing I don't like is it is not as compact compared to other USB sticks we can buy in the market now a days. If they will make something that's slick with same performance, I will definitely give it 5 stars. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

No lag USB stick

Perfect for when nostalgia calls!  I love the wide range compatibility and the fact that it's backwards compatible with USB 2.0. I was able to playback the following formats; flac, jpg, png, mkv, avi, mp4, m4a and mp3.  The transfer speeds varied, it was excellent with smaller files and good with bigger files.  It took less than 10mins to transfer a 4.30GB file and speeds were as high as 14.5MB/s.  Overall good performance but transfer speeds for larger files could be slightly improved upon.

Portable, Fast & Great Compatibility

Well, as a flash drive its fast to transfer, which is expected with USB 3.0. Although on first use, the device storage that was available before formatting or anything, was only 54GB, so I am not sure what is taking up the other 10GB but that's a lot of space to take before first use. Also the plastic body and slider of the drive feel cheap and sorta flimsy, which doesn't inspire great confidence in the product at first glance.

Fast but feels like it shouldnt be

The EMTEC flash drive has a great amount of storage to hold pictures, videos, and presentation slides. Convenient to carry around in one piece with the slider that protects the USB (without the worry of loosing the cap). Handy with backwards compatible to USB 2.0. However, I wish the slider design is a bit smoother

Overall good flash drive for convenience

A usb stick is a usb stick, hard to re-invent the wheel, but a smaller size, that looks more durable would be a nice touch. No keyring for carrying. Overall a good product, no bug like those USB you plug and nothing happens...Fast and easy to use. Good price-quality product.

Still too big for a USB stick

The flash drive comes in a simple and easy to open package without any instructions. The FD itself is lightweight & compact but the black & grey plastic casing seems cheaply made and gives the impression that it could easily break.  The "slide" feature is not easy to use and could be problematic for some. Although it is advertised to have 64GB, mine only has 57GB. That being said, it was easy to upload and remove items from the flash drive. This flash drive connects with a USB-a.
