My favorite feature is that you have the option to use D size batteries or AA size batteries. The light on high is very bright and will light up the den, kitchen, bedroom nicely during a power outage and is much safer than candles. Has 3 power options high, low, nightlight and also the option to charge your cell phone if needed.

Uses 3 D cell batteries or 3 AA batteries. Not included. Claims to be long lasting. I haven't personally verified this. It does provide a lot of light. There are 3 settings for the light and a USB port for charging cell phones.

Really bright light

i am happy to say that this is the best lanterns battery power that we have ever used we can take them out fishing campaign whatever we want plenty of light I never have to worry about the kids and it's bright enough for us to do anything we need we love this product we bought them for everyone in our family

great lantern

This works so well I am love them. 

No, really, it's amazing! It has three modes/settings, two different ways for powering with batteries, is easy to carry and stable when put down. It doesn't heat up to the touch, which? Always a good thing when carrying a lantern. 

This is great for power outages and for camping, but also to just use in the house as a nightlight. I couldn't recommend this enough! Everyone should have one for emergencies, if nothing else.

Wonderful Light Source

It's very bright and easy to use. We got a lot of power failures and this is very helpful. No problems.

Useful if you get a power failure

Love this little thing!  You can use AA or D-sized batteries.  It has a USB plug and variable light brightnesses. I plan to buy a few more!

Great Value and Preparedness

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this lantern. The variable light output and color temperatures are ideal for a variety of use cases (ambient light, reading, night light).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so looking forward to this lantern for emergency reasons. I followed the instructions and I couldn't close the lid. Now half the batteries won't come out since they are packed in tightly. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. Totally disappointed that my batteries are now stuck and I cannot get them out.
