These are premium batteries, and the price makes no effort to conceal that fact.

I don't use them everywhere. A motorized kid's toy doesn't need boutique electrons, and the collection of remote controls living in a nightstand drawer will survive perfectly well on ordinary alkaline batteries.

Where I do use lithium batteries is in expensive electronic equipment such as digital scales, meters, and other devices where long life, reliable voltage, and especially resistance to leakage matter more than saving a few dollars on batteries.

That's really the calculation. Putting premium batteries in everything would be expensive and unnecessary. Putting inexpensive batteries in an expensive piece of equipment, then discovering years later that one leaked and damaged it, is a particularly unsatisfying form of economy.

Use the ordinary batteries for ordinary jobs. These go in the equipment I'd rather not replace.

Not Every Device Needs These Batteries

walmart.com

These Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries are incredibly reliable and last far longer than standard alkaline batteries. I use them in high-drain devices like remotes, wireless accessories, and small electronics, and they keep everything running smoothly for an impressive amount of time.
They're lightweight, hold power well in storage, and perform consistently without leaking. While they cost more upfront, the longevity and performance make them well worth it.
If you want dependable batteries that you won't have to replace constantly, these are an excellent choice.

Long-lasting and dependable

I have been using these batteries for my Schlage Electronic Deadbolt Keyless Entry Keypad years and they last long.

Very good batteries

These last forever… They are the best battery you can buy… I use them for my electric blinds. I guess you'd call them electric… I also use them for my smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors. They are amazing.

Long lasting great quality

I use these in my outdoor security cams. They work fine. Too many variables determine how long they will last with cameras, but I'm happy with them.

Works fine

I don't know but one clock I own will not keep accurate time using ANY other battery but this. I've tried several other brands however it's this battery %26 no other

Outstanding service

Voltage drop caused my device offline, but it indicated batteries were normal condition. I changed new batteries, my device turned in normal working. Only occurred one time, those 2 batteries were no longer in use.

Battery Voltage Drop

great battery with a long life. however they definitely do not last more than a month in security cameras that brag they last up to 2 years.

These batteries are garbage. They literally held a charge for a week. And then they were dead, the worst batteries ever bought. The most expensive to boot, totally not worth it. Never doing it again

Absolute waste of money %26 fast dying!!

Batteries didn't last a week in Blink cameras. I purchased some plain Energizers from my local grocery store that lasted over 3 weeks while these knock offs didn't make it 5 days. They look legit with an Expiration date of 12-50. Definitely fake.

Not real lithium or Energizer. Save your money
