I first tried this scent as a free sample ordered with a bottle of French Lime Blossom cologne, which I adore. When I first tried the Pear and Freesia scent it smelled very strong and I wasn't quite sure if I liked it. However, after about half an hour to an hour it mellowed so beautifully on my skin into this warm, fruity, elegant fragrance. It is wonderfully long-lasting and when spraying on my hair I can often still smell it the next day. It's a very feminine fragrance that is suited to all times of the day and I absolutely adore it.

Having listened to my sister raving about Jo Malone I thought I had best try it for myself and I'm pleased I did. I purchased a bottle of English Pear and Freesia, much to my husbands amusement I spent the rest of the day, including the drive home sniffing myself. What a wonderful fragrance, it stays on my skin for hours and I get so many compliments. I am now Jo Malone converted. My first bottle was bought at the end of August, it is now the end of December and there is still some left, I bought the small bottle and use it daily. Amazing!

First JM experience

I have recently just started using Jo Malone products these are one of a kind they are amazing I doubt I will find anything like this again I am quite fussy what products I use and I know I will continue to use these products! This scent is so easy to wear at times I pair it up with pom noir it's gorgeous!

Lovely scent

So-following on from my review of the body wash. I couldn't wait for Christmas and had to gift myself a bottle of this cologne. Am in love. What I find with this gorgeous scent is that it works beautifully with ALL the Jo products I already use and makes me feel just delicious! Today I used nectarine body wash, amber and lavender body lotion and my new cologne & honestly I felt I was wafting loveliness wherever I went. Delighted and enlightened!

Sublime

Found this scent through a friend and instantly fell in love it with, that I ordered it online the next day! It's not too strong and it's definitely not a fruity as you think it would be. I always keep coming back to this scent and always get compliments on it from friends.

A Staple in My Life

Must be my midlife crisis, but after not wearing scents all my life I suddenly found myself wanting a scent. I'm not perfume savvy so I can't tell you what this smells like other than awesomeness. It's not overpowering and not grandma-ish. It's just a lovely scent that I am absolutely in love with.

SO IN LOVE

I got a sample at the Jo Malone boutique near me a few months ago and I immediately got a bottle right after finishing the sample. It was so fruity and light, like a juicy pear. This is definitely in my top 3 favorite fragrances and it's also my new signature scent. Even my friends who dislike the smell of perfumes have said this one was not offending and smelled very natural. The only cons I can think of is that it doesn't last as long due to it being a cologne instead of a toilette or parfum spray. However, it doesn't impact me as much because I have the 100mL. Overall a wonderful fragrance which I'd recommend to anyone looking into Jo Malone.

My new signature scent

This is one of my very favourite Jo Malone perfumes. The notes of pear and freesia complement one another so very well, creating a burst of sweetness and freshness that's subtle, natural and deliciously uplifting. Combines particularly well with Nutmeg & Ginger, or with Blackberry & Bay.

Absolutely mouth-watering

I had been wearing Ode & Bergamot and I got a sample of the English Pear and I sprayed a little on my wrist and the rest of the day I could not stop smelling my wrist it smelled so good and the fact that it lasted all day I knew I had finally found my signature sent I just placed an order can not wait for it to come this is definitely my new obsession

My new obsession

I am obviously in a VERY small minority, but I really dislike this scent! To me, the pear is overwhelming and the fragrance lacks depth and sophistication. Personally, I could not tell this apart from a generic, off-the-counter eau de toilette. But, as I said, I am obviously in the minority!!

I just don't get it?
