I have several fry pans that never came with a lid.   This lid fits them perfectly.  It is well made and heavy.   I just wish it was white instead of black.   Black fry pan interiors make it difficult for me to see how well my food is cooking because of my light colored eyes.   This glass lid helps tremendously.   The less shyt I own the happier I am.  It is just so much easier to have a single lid fit several pans than have a lid for every pan.   Less junk to accumulate and clean.

I bought this item for use with a pan that has an internal diameter of 7.75 inches (external diameter is 8 inches). The lid fits and works as desired.

I've used it twice, and have only hand-washed it. I've not had it long enough to comment on long-term durability. There is a good chance that I will buy a second lid for a second pan of the same size, but I have not yet done so.

Works As Desired.

Mom  needed a cover for her 'wok' and this fits perfectly. The glass center is a great feature. She loves it.

Now have 4 of these lids, love them, use this " small " one for 8" & 6.5" cast iron frying pans; use the " large " one for 9", 10" & 11.25" cast iron frying pans.  Works great & best price.

My best discovery

It fits my 11.25" iron skillet very nicely, the glass allows sight of what is cooking, the small hole allows excessive steam to escape but not so much that my eggs don't cook on top when a few drops of water are added.  Cleans manually or in the dishwasher, works in the oven also.  Also works with 9" up to 11.5" pans.  Great product, great price.  Remember free shipping for $50+, but free pickup at local Walmart if less than $50 order.  I also have the small lid which handles 6" - 9" pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lifesaver. I hate having to search the cupboard for the right lid and often times dont have a lid for the pan I am using. This has fit each pan I have in my collection and has been a treat to use. It's easy to clean and no hassle of storage for a bunch of different lids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously, what's not to love about this universal lid?  I do a lot of cooking and use several types of pots and pans to cook.  I don't have a great system to store my pots, pans, and lids so I'm often having to get down on the floor and reach back to sort through my many lids to find the correct lid to a specific pot or pan.  I still have to do that with my small pots and pans but this universal silicone glass lid fits MANY more pots and pans than I expected.  I find myself reaching for this lid first before going on the hunt for the lid that came with the pot or pan.

What's not to love?

It fit my new frying pan  I gave it four rather than five stars because is basically lies on top of the pan, it does not create an air tight seal.  But if you purchase a fry pan, as I did that does not come with the possibility of a Lid, this will absolutely work and it is well made.
