I ordered 2 black cartridges and they are Epson ink packed in Epson's box and shrink wrapped the same way Epson wraps their cartridges. No substitution or off brand here. They were a lot less then anywhere else and I got free shipping by picking them up at the local FedEx! Can't beat the price and saving money on my printer ink works for me!

Genuine Epson Ink!

This is the ink my printer needs. It hasn't clogged the heads of the printer, but all printers worry me this way, unless they have water based ink. This isn't water based ink, and it has that high quality long lasting look of such ink. Good looking in photo graphic pictures too.

Epson has the ink I need.

My store is just minutes away from my home. Service was quick. Took me less than 10 minutes. Product is the actual manufacturers replacement. I will purchase again rather than drive 20 minutes to where I used to go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was available at Walmart in a single color (black) rather than a four-pack containing all colors, which I did not need and which was 4x the price.

If you have an epson printer, it only makes sense to have epson ink. These seem to be just a little lower priced than HP ink too.

My order arrived sooner than I date state, which was great.  I wasn't too happy with the packaging--the box containing one of the ink cartridges was slightly crushed but it hadn't caused any damage to the cartridge.  The ink cartridge is performing as expected.

EPSON INK IS VERY GOOD BUT DON'T LAST LONG.

You can't review this product without mentioning the machine it goes in, specifically the Epson NX130, in my case.

Quite simply, Epson makes lousy printers -- in all fairness, their SCANNING program is far superior to others, like Brother for example.

What they do, is price their printers below market (I bought mine on sale at Fry's for $19 -- and it's an all-in-one machine).

Then when it comes time for an ink replacement (the ink supplied with the machine is half-full), then you have to replace it with an Epson cartridge.

Epson cartridges are NOT refillable, and each one has a computer chip in it to prevent it from being reused.

Their are generic cartridge replacements on the market, but they have poor quality control, so they might not work at all, and if the printer suspects it's a generic, it simply won't print.

AND, if you run out of one color, you have to replace ALL the color cartridges -- so why have separate cartridges at all?

Of course, if you're reading this review, you're looking for a replacement cartridge, so you probably already know all of the above.

If it's made by Epson - keep movin' on!

The ink did not work in my printer.  It was the exact type my printer takes, but it kept giving me a message saying that it could not recognize the ink cartridge.   I tried many times to reset it, but it would not work.  Waste of my money!!
