Can be generous and long-lasting, but may be bulky and require significant initial filling.

Setup and connection to wifi is straightforward.

Can be clear and easy to follow, but may also be confusing or incomplete in some cases.

Oh I looked at the $59 inkjets and the ones that were $139 - but they don't beat this one. -it's a duplex so prints both sides, wifiable so I don't have to plug in - but I can if I need to. It's voice activated so I can add it to my Alexa - it's got a flatbed for scanning and an ADF if I have a multi page doc to scan a it's quiet - it's compact yet holds a lot of paper - print quality is great - came quickly - it's a win win - because it's not a cartridge type of printer it comes with the bottles of ink - and they supposedly last up to two years - that's a savings right there - the ink cartridges were so expensive!!!

The Epson EcoTank printer has been a great printer so far. It's a MASSIVE upgrade over the terrible HP printer that required a subscription. Not only did the EcoTank print documents in excellent quality, but I was also amazed with how well it prints photos. I recommend this printer.

Fantastic Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of reading some negative reviews about how difficult it was to install this printer...after I had ordered it.  So, when it arrived, I let it sit in the box for a week before I had the courage to open it and try to install it.  Silly me!!! Installing and configuring this printer is so easy that anyone can do it.  Just follow the high-level instructions in the box and that is it.  The software even searches for the needed information from your router; you don't have to find it and enter it.  Very intuitive.  And, I love how easy it is to use.  The print, copy and scan quality is superb.  And, I also love the fact that I will be saving money on ink.  So easy to fill the ink reservoirs...no mess...easy peasy.

Love This Printer - Easy to Install and Configure

The printer was easy to set up and use.  the printouts are good quality.  Printing speed is good.  It has many desirable features like document feeder, double sided printing, larger paper tray, ink tanks for much cheaper per page printing costs, etc.

Easy to set up and use; high quality

Although I think it's expensive for what it is, it is a decent little printer. I like the fact I don't have to buy the expensive cartridges anymore. It does print a little slow and seems a bit clunky when printing, unlike my previous Epson workforce printer. But it's small to fit my space, was easy to set up and print quality is fine for what I need. Not a high end quality printer.

Great little product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Print quality is good overall black has a clearer look. In color is still good as well. The ink filling was easy and not messy. Before I was concerned about spilling but it went smoothly. Why I rated it a 4 was the paper tray would get jammed when I filled near capacity so I half fill tray and it ran smoothly.

Nice printer. I really like the Precision Core print head. Worth the extra money.

On standard setting, some text was a bit misformed (yes, I went through all the alignment steps); I moved the setting to standard plus, hope that will make a difference. 

The ink tank arrangement is a good approach. 

Finally - this one is on me, not the machine - I did not realize Epson offered many refurbished printers until I registered this one. Wish I had gone there first.

My first Epson printer

Very nice machine.  I bought this printer because my last Epson printer finally let go after over five years of heavy use.  I love the ink tanks. The cost of the cartridges is way too expensive and this does save a lot on ink.  This printer is slower speed wise compared to my last one.  The color quality is better though.  It does duplex print as well.  I hope I get another 5  years out of this one and I will be happy.

Epson 3843 Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me say that I am not Tech savvy, however, I can follow instructions.  The instructions say to use the "touch screen" to navigate but this does not have a "touch" screen.  You need to use the pad to the right of the screen to navigate.  Nowhere in the instructions does it say anything about this.  Wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to get things to work.  It takes longer to do it this way than if it had a "touch" screen.  Frustrating!  I downloaded the app to my iPhone and the setup went smoothly to install the printer and establish wi-fi.  I was able to copy without a problem, however, when I tried to print something off of the computer, it said there was no wi-fi.  I followed their guide to reset things and lost the wi-fi.  After a couple of hours of trying to get it back, I gave up.  The next morning I tried it again and it worked.  Go figure?  Haven't had a problem since then but haven't tried scanning anything yet.  I find the color to be lighter than I would like.  I will be checking the User Manual to see if that can be improved.  I'm really hoping this will be an improvement over my old HP in ink usage and cost.

Instructions don't tell it all...

My second attempt with the ET model, this time the ET 3843.  I like the overall design of the printer. It does seem slower with the dual page printing but for a budget home / office its just fine.  I was able to scan from the printer to the desktop via the printer controls, but only after downloading ET3840_ET3843_EScan2_65310_NA  file and installing it.  You will also need to download the app for you phone as well as the driver package from epson.  You will need to find your printer in order to find the needed software.   This is why the 4 stars...    Over all its easy to setup, follow the instructions on the phone app and the computer and it will do everything for you.

Keep in mind the ET 4810 does NOT have  bottom tray, only the feeds from the rear and does not have duplex printing and the ink tanks stick forward further making it take more space on the shelf incase you are considering it.

Good ink tank choise

Scanning is rendered at less than true size and the color rendition is noticeably less saturated .
Printing a scanned image [from the document feeder] created a black bar across the top of the page.  Images scanned from the bed were shifted down on the page.
