Can be sharp, but also streaky and inconsistent.

Setup is generally straightforward and quick.

Epson printers are great. I have one at home but needed one at my daughter’s so I purchased this one. It’s inexpensive, very easy to set up and it did a fantastic job! There is a model that feeds sheets that you want to copy but I did not need that feature so this one fit the bill for me.  I printed from my i phone and my laptop via the Bluetooth connection. All connections were quick and easy. I would recommend this printer to anyone needing one. It was also available at the store for immediate pickup.

Excellent print quality. Smooth connection via WiFi. The app is very easy to use. Has been working great so far. It’s very convenient to print right from my phone from anywhere. Wish the cartridge had a little more capacity but for occasional home use it’s great overall.

Great home printer

The paper guides were pushed together, so I had a little trouble, figuring out how to get the paper in there correctly.  But once I slid them apart, everything set up easily. This is a replacement to an older model I was very happy with. There’s no need for any app to print like some other brands require the ink is very easy to install and it’s less expensive than other brands as well. Highly recommend.

Great all-in-one colored printer with scanner

I loved this printer.  Installed in 5 minutes and automatically linked to my phone.  My only issue was when i ran out of the trial ink and i tried one that was compatible, it froze up and wouldn't let me use it until i replace it with true Epson ink.  That should be illegal to force someone to buy their product in order for it to work.

Similar to the previous model that stopped working after many years of faithful service. It was easy to set up and use. This one is slower than my older model and has more frequent updates. The ink cartridges are expensive for the number of pages printed. Also, printing only 10 color pages puts me at a low ink level, even after adjusting for lesser quality. I like that it prints double sided and it reliably prints from my phone. Overall, it's reliable but more costly than my older model. I needed a replacement and this was better than going without a printer. Recommend for when you're in a pinch and looking for reliability and a similar interface to a previous Epson printer.

to start it and printed dark on 2 pages for test run than when i went to print a document it came out very light even though there is plenty of ink will be sending back if i can't get it to print to actual color to were its not super faded like out of ink when it still has plenty of ink

Worked for six months then failed to recognize ink after firmware update.  I tried all the troubleshooting found online, but I think the error is being thrown because the cartridges (which were working fine before firmware update) are knockoff cartridges and Epson purposely programmed the machine to reject knockoff cartridges with the firmware update.  Inexpensive unit, but the replacement Epson cartridges are expensive and don't last long.  Pretty sure Epson designed the unit and gave it a low price point so as to corner people into paying a lot for their stupid ink, which is sneaky and bogus.

I made the mistake of buying an off brand black ink. The system could not recognize the ink. It was a horrible loop. This was tax time. It's would not verify me so I had to print my return. Well I ran to Walmart to get the right Epson black ink.  I get everything sorted and it would not connect to the internet. I rebooted, powered down! I tried for days to get it back online it will

Use only epsom ink??

I initially liked the printer until I went into the Play store uploaded and did all needed to be done even got the 3 day free trial, and all the sudden when I was ready to print, mind you did all this without "pause", and instead it just seemed like the app wanted me to store everything while it pried into my personals throughout my phone. 
and still when I went back to print said it couldn't even find this printer. 
junk whether the app or printer. I don't know which. 
so therefore it is going to be returned. 
I am so disappointed!

The item stopped connecting wirelessly after 6 months. It was under $70 but Walmart should make it easier to replace items like these that break down in under a year. The manufacturer's warranty is one year so we'll see how much work it takes to get them to honor it.

Is this a 1 star printer? Not really. In general it's pretty good (I bought the same model to replace this broken one). But in my case, I got a 1 star printer that got by QC.

Usually reliable but not today.
