Can be spectacular, but build quality varies from poor to adequate.

Setup process uses a substantial amount of ink.

Great printer that produces great colors and you can print photos up to 17 x 22. The ink not cheap but seams to last longer. Dell sells ink cartridges $4 less than Epson.

Great large print size printer

I am very happy with this printer so far. I was able to get more prints from the starter inks than I thought I'd be able to. I absolutely love not having to switch back and forth between the matte black and photo black as I've had to do in the past with other printers. The design is sleek and the size is perfect for my space. I also purchased the roll adapter and so far it's been great! The big thing is to remember to have patience when printing with thicker fine art paper using the front loader. As long as you double check everything is lined up you should be fine. There is a thick paper option in the settings too so remember to turn that on. I did have some head striking before I turned that on. I've been doing some double sided printing as well and it's been great.

Excellent table top printer with versatility

It was easy to set up and is quiet printing. The print quality is so excellent. I used to have the R2800, predecessor to this model, and always had to switch black inks depending on paper finish. Sometimes the printer didn't register the ink change. This printer has both types of ink and senses which to use once you select the paper type. No cartridge swapping!  I bought it to print my photos, watercolors and pastels for greeting cards. I decided on the 19” printer in case I need to make larger prints for myself or other art friends. The ink is very expensive partly because there are 10 cartridges that give more accurate colors. I think it will be worth it though. Im very pleased.

Pleased with New Epson P900 17” Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pricey, but you get what you pay for!  Super easy to setup and linked up to the WIFI connection with zero issues!  Only thing I dont like is the ink it comes with gets most of it used up in the setup process, and considering the cost of all the inks, this is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.  They should provide you two sets so you can have a full set to begin with.

I've owned an Epson printer from the 2000 and 2200 to the 7900. I had to buy this P900 after my last one died within a year and a half. It took 3 different printers before I received one that worked. Although, looking back it did make a weird noise when loading the paper. A noise that this one doesn't have. I'm glad and relieved, this time, that I received a working printer right from the start. I hope this one last longer than a year.

Print Head beware

I bought on a year and a half ago. The head gave out. It was cheaper to buy a new one than get the old one fixed

Quality decline

When it works, it is great.   Have used it for approximately 75 prints in 2 years and have had nothing but feed problems..even hand feeding 1 at a time..it JAMS.  Tried to print today and keeps jamming and saying there is a jam and paper in it and did not have paper loaded.  Looked everywhere in the printer..no paper..yet it still wont run.  Spent an hour doing this.  Tired of fooling with it.  I have loyally and spoke highly of and used Epson photo printers since early 2000's(17" ones).  All were great until this one.  Maybe its time to switch to Canon

What a letdown and waste.

I can not recommend buying this product. I purchased the P900 after many years of satisfied use with my Epson 4880 printer. 11 months after purchasing my initial printer head failed. Epson sent me a replacement that was refurbished. It is now 10 months later, with moderate usage, and my replacement has also failed. The build quality of these Epson printers is not adequate to hold up for even a year of use.
