I bought these because I had to. After taking Epson's firmware update. If you'd like to  SAVE MONEY BY using unbranded refills.. DON'T  EVER TAKE EPSON'S FIRMWARE UPDATES... In any event buy these when you have to. They work as you would expect an Epson cartridge would work in an Epson printer  Peace!

Wish the price wasn't soooo much for colors.  HOWEVER,  after talking about the price, there rrrrrrrr others out there (on Walmart) that r like a generic but work %26 they cost half as much, buttttttt u have GOT to read the reviews to make sure they do n fact work.  If it has anything UNDER 4 stars, DON'T trust it.  I use the 4 stars %26 above for allllll my purchases %26 been quite pleased each time.  SO, do I recommend these?, yes, but if the price isn't n ur budget u caaaan find others

This ink was what was required for the printer I just bought. But it does not last long at all. I regret buying this printer and wish I spent a little more where the ink last longer. This one will go empty quick. It’s easy to refill but most are.

Not worth it. Ink runs out quick.

Epson seems to be doing everything within their power to make this lifelong customer and former fan hate them....The price of this ink and the wastefulness of this system will have this customer looking elsewhere in the future....It makes me so sad....but I just can't keep justifying it!

Overprice and Wasteful System - Unhappy

The print quality on the EPSON 232 Claria Ink is honestly very good—colors are sharp and photos come out looking nice, which is what you’d expect from Epson. That said, the value just isn’t there. These cartridges are expensive and don’t last very long at all. It feels like you barely get through a modest stack of prints before the low-ink warning pops up and you’re already shopping for another set.

It also doesn’t help that Epson firmware updates can block third-party cartridges, which makes the whole thing feel like a bit of a money grab. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but this crosses into frustrating territory. If you print a lot, be prepared for frequent replacements and higher costs. Overall, decent product, but hard to recommend unless you’re okay with the ongoing expense.

A few sheets here and there

After putting in cartridges, ink show below full. Cannot print. Never had issues before using these.  Ink being used for test sheets instead of printing. Something is very wrong   Not reliable. All troubleshooting, cleaning, alignment nothing works. Replace blue and yellow now showing not full 5 minutes after replacement

Something isn’t right

Epson is making it hard to used their printer with generic ink. I have six generic black inks cartridge and none of them work. Epson ink cartridges are $64:00 for 4 ink cartridges.  I purchased a Canon printer with two years of ink free. Do the math, it's well work every penny to switch to Canon.

My printer that I bought went haywire it wouldn't stop printing. I unplugged the power cord plug it back in tried to cancel it wouldn't cancel and it kept wasting the Ink. Well finally got it stopped. I had to go get more ink another $49. It's nothing but a money trap turned it back on still wouldn't stop the haywire problem. I print some and it would print double when I printed wouldn't stop printing it did it twice so I took it back. Don't recommend it at all and now I'm stuck with all this ink. It's an ink pit trap. Don't buy it. I went and got a brother worked fabulous.

Everything Epson is a rip-off! The initial affordable price of the printer is a catch. Then it uses ink profusely! The ink is expensive and you can’t print in black and white if any of the colors are missing. It uses red ink so much that you end up with a great deal of un-used blue and yellow. After a year of use, the printer starts to have internal issues and some belt begins to shred! Glad to see it is no longer available at Walmart and Amazon. Wish my new Cannon had been available last year.

i bought for the price. Wow...I was taken. Some cartridges had ink some didn't. What a waste of money. After about two weeks with minimal printing, I ended up going to Sams and purchasing the whole pack of black and colors. Almost $20 more, but they had ink in them.
