I don't print that much but when I do I notice the ink runs out fast.  I tried the XL but the printer rejected it.  I returned it with ease so have been buying this one. 
Other than the fact that we have to purchase the black separate from the color ink, it works fine.

Epson ink review

It gets the job done, after all it is made by Epson. The color is 4.5 out of 5, Lifespan is 3.5 out of 5. Overall I would still buy it again... since I have no choice.
   With every update my printer receives, ensures that the printer will never recognize third-party ink cartridges. So Epson brand it is.
   Also the quality of the ink is good, no bleeds whatsoever, I only wish it lasts longer.

First let me just say that i have owned my Epson WF-4820 series printer for 3 years, since 2022, so i would say it has a good reliability. I love how vibrant and realistic the colors are and how the photos come out, but what I dislike is that the printer ink, (Epson ink %23822),  is a bit costly, and the other thing I dislike about this Epson printer is the longevity if the ink, in which it uses ink fast. I believe that since this ink is used up fast, that the cost should be cut down to around $35. - $40. plus tax or even $30. plus tax.  And honestly, with how fast the ink gets used this printer needs the refillable ink cartridges. My suggestion is keep your printer on all the time because if you turn it off then you have to use the printer head cleaner several times for it to print correctly once you turn it back on, and the printer head cleaner uses a good bit of all the ink colors. 
I have used this ink on different types of printer paper, regular sized, letter sized paper and photo paper sizes: 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, and wallet sized photos. 
i recommend getting a printer with refillable ink cartridges.

I have a home printer and do need this ink for printing. for the price it isn't really worth it.  i do not own a business and only do personal printing. i buy 4-5 of these a year.  im on a fixed income and sometimes have to wait and save money to purchase this. if i didnt need it to print i definitely would not but it.

Not enough printing

Way too expensive. Doesn't last long, so it's practically cheaper to just buy a new printer than replace all the ink cartridges.

Way too expensive for amount of ink.

Bought this ink after a firmware update and it still doesn't work, so I bought a different brand printer
