This is the first in the series and is captivating. The story conatins elves, witches, and a magical dragon that has chosen his Rider out of many. It contains alot of action from beginning to end throughout the entire book. I truly recommend this book to anyone who believes in magic.

Okay this is the most amazing book I have ever read. When i was reading it I never wanted to put it down. I actually read it for over 3 hours straight when i first got it. Paolini just captures your imagination in this amazingly exciting and thrilling novel. As soon as i was done reading it I imediately bought Eldest.

AMAZING

To those of you who have yet to venture into Alagaesia you are missing a compelling adventure. If you have seen the movie please do not let this deter you from reading the book. The book is 100 times better and the movie does not come close to the imagery the author wished to convey. After reading this book I could not wait to get my hands on book 2 and subsequently book 3....Every age will love this fantasy as Eragon truly finds his purpose....Freedom!

Worth The Read

My children were thrilled when they opened their package. This is first book in a series of dragon tales. I would highly recommend this book.
