This sled is actually great! I read some bad reviews and was skeptical but I may buy another for next winter. I bought it for my 11 year old and it was plenty big for her to fit! She's pretty taall, the last time we used it was in March and at 5'1" she had enough room. In fact, we rode on it together a couple times!! It feels sturdy but lightweight and we have no issues carrying it without a string

best simple sled design every (we live in dry snow climate--so not sure about wet snow or icy snow). Goes straight. Goes fast. Fits kid and adult or 3 small kids.

Bought for my 8 year old daughter, she made it down the small hill 5 times and it cracked. The next time she went to get in it, it broke in half. I had a sled similar to this style when I was little-red plastic, yellow handles and it would make it though a whole winter in upstate NY before getting a split. I am very disappointed that this one couldn't make it an hour.

Epic Fail

Bought 3 for grandchildren 4 and 8 year olds. Cracked after 1 use.

This item quickly shipped to the store and was ready for me to pick up. It is a great price and perfect for sledding on a snowy day! Fits two people.

Excellent!

We don't get much snow so when we do these things go for top dollar.  bought this one for $8.50. haven't used it yet. seems like decent quality.  a little narrow. will probably work better for the littler kids not adults. but at least we'll have it when it snows.

The problem is that this sled breaks after being out in the cold for too long. It becomes brittle in cold temperatures. I'm glad the kids were padded up or they could have been cut from this sled breaking while in motion. 

I wish that stores would put a skull before the 5 stars so that we could mark dangerous toys.

I bought a couple of these last winter and one did break after not too long of use, but the other one lasted the whole winter.  I bought another one for this winter and was pleased to see the design had changed slightly, it was a bit wider.  I can squeeze in with my two kids and I think the quality is satisfactory for the price.  My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a cord to tote it around with

It is just what I was looking for.  It is a Christmas gift for my granddaughters.  I added a rope so Mom or Dad can pull them around on it, or they can slide down the hill in their yard.  I was impressed with the size and depth as well as the price.
