I bought this carrier because I didn't like the way my baby was fitting in the infant insert in my performance ergo. I am SO glad I did! I love the way she fits in the carrier, she is totally comfortable and so am I! It is way easier to adapt to all the sizes than I expected and seems very sturdy.

Perfect for 6 week old!

Ergobaby

So.. I am on my second ergo carrier with baby #4. I have Tarlov Cyst Disease in my spinal cord which makes it difficult to hold the baby. This carrier is helping with weight distribution and giving me the option to hold my son when I otherwise couldn't. Thanks Ergo for simplifying my life a bit!

Love this carrier!

I bought this carrier a couple weeks ago and have already used it several times. It is allowing my family to get out and enjoy the summer with our 2-month-old. She seems comfortable in it and usually sleeps while being carried in it.

Great carrier!

I'm so happy I chose the ergobaby carrier- it's so comfortable (thanks to all the adjustable pieces) and I feel safe knowing my baby is very secure. I'm able to do many tasks around the house wearing it and it's a godsend when my girl is feeling sleep resistant as it always sends her off to sleep. 

I couldn't recommend it any higher.

I couldn't live without it

Had my 34# three year old in it at the Nashville zoo to see the eclipse! It's the perfect way to navigate through large crowds of people!  It was a long day and 100° outside but I was very comfortable with him on my back!
 No I'm looking for more fun things for us to do!  I wish I could ride my bike with him on my back like that! Lol

Really comfortable!

Had the 1st gen Ergo carrier with our son (now 8, live it and used it everywhere for a long time) and wanted to use it with our daughter but this time around felt that the infant insert worked but was just one more thing to tote around and was just a little cumbersome. Looked for another carrier and this one was perfect! Don't have to deal with another piece for her to grow into the carrier - we can just adjust the straps and the seat to her size and it'll grow with her. The navy is a great color! Hides mild dirt and stains that come with having kids and is versatile enough of a shade and sporty for both my husband and I to wear. Love the mesh venting for the hot NC summers and the sun protectant cover for her head. For reference, we started using this at 12lbs for our daughter. We use it in the store, while walking the dog and in the house when she just wants to be held and we still have both hands free to get things done around the house. Would recommend the Ergo Adapt in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a carrier. My only wish would be for them to come out with a dark charcoal grey color  with the cool air mesh. Otherwise, the Ergo Adapt is awesome!

Awesome for infants w/o the insert

Purchased this carrier for my 1 month old. I love that it has several adjustments that make it fit a smaller baby. She is very short and without the adjustments, she would not be able to use a carrier. The breath-ability of the mesh is great for the tropical area in which we live.  She loves to sleep on me, and now I can also get a couple things done while having time with her. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the fabric that breathes is kinda rough where her legs rest on the bottom of the carrier. I place a soft blanket over the fabric and it is fine.

Short baby - buy this carrier!!!!

I've tried a few different carriers and this one is my favorite! I love that it's adjustable and I can carry my petite 3-month-old without an extra insert. The Ergo 360 and original Ergo with an insert never felt comfortable on my body because of the way baby was positioned. But the Adapt is perfect. The cross-strap option is also a great feature. My only complaint is that the cool mesh fabric is pretty rough. Sometimes I tuck a burp cloth over the front part to protect my baby's skin from chafing.

My favorite Ergo carrier!

I've used few carriers with our newborn son. However, after carrying him for some time my back would hurt, so I decided to look for something with a better back.

Since we are planning a month long trip to Europe in the spring, it was important to find a carrier that was breathable. Ergobaby adapt cool air mesh was the perfect choice. It ‘grows' with the baby without needing an infant attachment, and I've been using it carrying my month old son around the house. 

Compared to other carriers my back does not hurt after carrying baby around for some time.
It's definitwly breathable and baby does not get overheated in our warm house, so I know it will be just perfect for our trip. 

It was fairly easy to adjust without needing to rely on instructions. 

Overall great carrier and does exactly what's in the description. I am looking forward to our travels and baby carrying in the spring when it gets warm outside. 

I have already recommended Ergobanu carriers to other friends that either have a baby or expecting one. It would make for a great baby shower gift.

Great carrier all around!

The carrier has been great to have my hands free while keeping baby happy since he loves to be held. It's easy to use and feels more secure than a wrap. My husband is tall and I'm short and it works well for both of us. Definitely recommend!

Hands free, happy baby

I really want to buy the Adapt cool air mesh in Grey, but the only colour available in my (very hot and sunny) country is Black.   Why, why, why would Ergobaby make a carrier that is designed to be "cool" and then produce it in such dark colours?  Surely the dark fabric defeats the point of the mesh?  
And what about the sun protection hood?  This is in black too so I can't imagine ever being able to use it, because baby is going to instantly overheat with a piece of black cloth on her head.   Its seems like Ergobaby haven't really thought this through. 
Of course I could buy it in grey, in another country, but then I have to pay shipping customs fees, and deal with the inevitable delays and uncertainty as it makes it way through customs.  
Feeling very frustrated.

Why make a supposedly "cool" carrier in Black?
