My favorite mascara ever.  Applies evenly and no clumps.  Brush is slightly curved.  Stays all day but washes off easily with soap and water or facial cleanser.  No weird smell - some mascaras have an odor that I don't like.   Apply two coats and have lovely, long lashes all day.

As a career makeup artist, I've tried thousands of mascaras over the years. and I can confidently say that Essense makes excellent mascaras! Not only does the price tag not sting (usually they run between $2.99-$4.99 each), but each brush and formula does exactly as they say it will! Even though I have dozens of mascaras in my drawer at any time, ranging from $1 to $50 each, my go to is ALWAYS Essense. 

PROS
- affordable price
- variety of formulas to choose from and they actually do what they say (length, volume, curling, etc.)
- brushes are great to wash and reuse
- no clumping, just smooth layers!
- cute packaging- colors indicate formulas so you don't get them confused 

CON (but not really)
*** They have a legit 3 month shelf life (good mascaras should though). When it starts to get clumpy or you feel like you've got something in your eye, toss it. I rarely remember when it's time to toss, but the formula begins to dry out and doesn't go on as smooth and can flake off. That's my indicator that it's time to grab another one.

I love this mascara! The price is really great!  When you compare it to other high end mascaras, it's right up there with high quality and great results, but you don't have to pay the high-end price!  It adds volume to my eyelashes that are very sparse, and it makes them look longer too!  The brush Is great and it really helps me get  mascara in the corners of my eyes!  I have tried the regular mascara along with the waterproof. The waterproof works great too! You won't be sorry if you try this mascara!
