Stylish looks. Smooth lever and swivel. Like that the faucet rotates 360 degrees for times when you need it out of the way.  Spray button is nice but only works on full pressure. Would be nice if it could be set on a partial pressure setting such as when a light sprinkle is desired for watering plants.

I love this smooth flow faucet.  The water comes out not too strong or to weak.  No splashing, perhaps because we have a deep sink.  The pullout spray is also great.  PS. We installed this faucet ourselves by watching couple videos and looking at the instruction sheet.

Customer Service

I own a kitchen dealership in Texas, and have used at LEAST 100 GROHE faucets over the years, and I truly believe GROHE is still the best.  BUT I installed this faucet a few months ago in my personal home, and while I normally LOVE Grohe faucets, but there are a few issues with this (and similar) models (Grohe Essence Single Handle Faucet):
1. The faucet splatters water all over the countertop behind the sink due to the a) short reach, b) forceful laminar water flow and c) the water flow is straight down.  I'm looking at a GROHE replacement that has aerated flow and angled output.
2.  I REALLY dislike the "weighted" hose return.  The large weight "clunks" against plumbing below the sink and gets stuck occasionally.  I prefer the "spring" hose return you used to supply with your faucets.  I have purchased and installed an old-style spring and it works MUCH better now.

Gorgeous faucet, but...

This faucet looks beautiful certainly, but right from the beginning, the flow is not very strong unless it is in spray mode.  Despite the flow not being strong, it splashes very easily when hitting items in the sink.  I am constantly wiping up a wet countertop. In addition, not even a year of use and it randomly switches from stream to spray mode almost all the time I use it.  Driving me crazy.  I wish I never bought it.

Just purchased my 4th replacement pull out spray head because after about 18 months, it consistently fails and is just stuck at spraying.  I don't want to replace the entire faucet but it is disappointing that it doesn't last longer.

Somewhat disappointed with this model for two reasons, the airation is poor, as a result, the stream of water often causes splash back. Secondly, i have owned this faucet for just over 1 year and the toggle switch between regular flow vs spray has already worn out. As a result, it will prematurely flip over to spray pattern without engaging the button cause a nasty splash back. So far, the distributor has been slow to respond to a warranty claim. Would definitely not buy this product again

Poor performance and defective

The sprayer has failed every year four years in a row since instillation.  In addition, this year the pull out sprayer hose has sprung a leak which, given the design leaks under the sink into the cabinet below.

Faulty sprayer design

Had it 4 months now and we hate it. It is super splashy, because there's no aerator on it so the water comes with extreme force. The previous Grohe faucet we had did have an aerator, so we assumed this one would. Nope. So when you simply go to rinse out a cup the force of water comes out so full and with such force, which is very difficult to regulate, it shoots out of the cup and all over the counter.  Every. Time. We called and tried to get an exchange but they said no, so we are stuck with it, like a thorn in our sides, and curse at it daily.

Sucks. Super splashy, water goes everywhere.
