Not everyone wants to store CD/DVDs with a drawer-type storage solution, but this fit my needs. Although I was looking for a more elegant option, the offerings are sparse. This is a plastic box with a simple plastic drawer. The box and drawer, however, are more study than I expected and the built-in handle accommodates my hand well. The fit and finish, for plastic, are quite acceptable. Multiple accessories are included, with optional colored face plates, simple drawer dividers, and CD/DVD sleeves. Unexpectedly included are multiple plastic connectors with which you may connect and anchor multiple boxes together, stacked or side-by-side, which appears to be working well (only had the boxes one week). If I didn't want to connect multiple boxes, they also include blanks which can be inserted into the holes along the sides (which can be seen in the photo) making for a more pleasant appearance and, of course, limiting the insidious dust intrusion. The lock is quite simple, as you may expect.

The CD/DVD sleeves are double-sided and felt lined. If I used both sides of each sleeve I think I could get 150 discs in the drawer as they advertise (you get 75 sleeves), but many of my sleeves ended up with only one disc, so I fairly easily got 125 discs in each drawer. It is also important to note that the drawer dimensions are quite tight - only sleeves exactly 5 inches tall fit, and many sleeves I have from other sources were too tall to fit in the drawer. The width is slightly more generous at about 5 1/4 inches or so wide.

Although made of plastic, this seems a good value and fulfills a basic function, as long as you don't mind the plain, bland, light grey exterior.

Good solution for a niche product

For just a couple more dollars than cardboard snap-together type holders, these are solidly built plastic drawers that come with different colored label holders that snap in and out, a bunch of different colored CD/DVD sleeves, a lock, etc. These are excellent storage units. Highly recommend.

Best for the Price I Found

The drawers are great for what i needed them for. I have a huge collection of DVDs and blu-rays and these drawers help organize them easily and allows for easy access. The whole locking mechanism is pretty cheap and will break with enough pressure but i don't use the lock so it doesn't matter.

The only downside is the color, But i just spray painted them the color i wanted and now they look great.

Great storage, just what i needed

I love it. Although, It needs a weight at the base in the back because once it is full of CDs.and you pull the drawer out it will tumble if you don't hold it down.

Just bought 2nd 1 and no complaints. Only in con is that if full it will fall when opened if not supported.

Great product for price

Love the drawer part as it keeps dust out, easy to open
and plenty of room to flip thru a little over 100 DVD's at this point.
will absolutely be buying more once we get to the 150 mark.

great dvd storage

This case was for our cd's, and worked as well as we had hoped for.  We stand them up with the front cover showing, so you need to lean them back to see them, and you can't cram them in. (about 5 less than they actually hold.) They still fit even if you don't use the slots.  A great value for the money!

Older thick cases and jewel cases fit if you don't want to use the paper sleeves.

It's been said in other reviews. The lock is a joke. Like cheap filing cabinets it can be "picked" with a pair if nail clippers. Otherwise for the money it's a pretty good case. I don't think in the real world it can really hold 150. I have around 120 using the standard white sleeves not the double ones that come with it and that just leaves the right amount of room to be able to flip them around to look through them.

A lot in a small space

These drawers are pretty much as they appear on the Walmart web site, except that it is not clear that the CDs in their sleeves must be stored SIDEWAYS to fit in the drawers. This is not so much a problem with the sleeves provided, which have no space for a title, but other sleeves which have the title of the CD across the top, must also be stored on their sides, making the title harder to see.

Over under sideways down

If you are looking for CD storage for anything other than by using these sleeves and these sleeves only, forget about it. You can only use the sleeves that are provided. No liner notes, no plastic jewel boxes, only their sleeves. Totally worthless for storing slim sleeves with liner notes or jewel boxes.
