I use this every time I do my nails. It is a game changer. I apply a thin layer in between each layer of color. This makes my mani last at least a week and a half without chipping. I can't do my nails without this product.

I love this product!

This base coat is crazy good! I applied it to my toenails & as an experiment, I left the polish on until it started to wear off. It's winter, so no worries about anyone seeing my experiment. Lol. Well, my nails actually grew out before the polish showed any wear! Unbelievable. Normally my shoes will rub it off the tips after a few days, but not with Here To Stay base coat. Seriously impressed.

Normally my nails chip within one day, and on day 2 it would be better to redo them so I do that on day 3. Now only one mini chip appeared on my thumbnail after 4 days! Its still staying on beautifully. Would definatey recommend..actually I alreado told 5 friends! :)

I had used First Base as my go-to base coat (combined with Good To Go/Speed Setter as top coat) until suddenly I couldn't find it anywhere anymore so I decided to try Here To Stay. I have strong nails of my own and keep them relatively short but HTS has not been working for me at all. Chips after only a couple of days while normally I can keep my manicure for nearly 2 weeks until the grow out has become too obvious. So unfortunately, as First Base appears to have been discontinued for some reason I guess I'll have to look for another brand.

Doesn't work for me

Always loved Essie.  I bought this base coat, applied it, let it dry, added 2 coats of Essie polish, then an Essie top coat.  My entire nail peeled off by the next day!  tried again, same results.  this time I tried the base coat with a different Essie polish, same result.  so dissappointed.
