I bought this a few weeks ago and finally got around to doing my mani early last week. I used this as a base coat, as directed and followed up with 2 coats of colored Essie polish and the gel setter top coat. My mani lasted a full 10 days! No chips! I am so impressed as usually when I do my mani it chips in a day or two. When I have them professionally done they might last 5 days. This was such a pleasure. I will definitely use again and again!

I bought this on a whim because I had problems with my manicure lasting just a day or two. I am glad to say that it lasts a full 7 days, no matter which polish I use.

Please don't change a thing!!!

I have used so many base coats and everytime I go back to the first base base coat by essie! It makes my manicure last for a really long time, keeps polish from discoloring my nails and keeps my nails strong!

Long lasting manicure essential !

My manicure usually lasts 2-3 days, depending on color and brand. This is the best base product and only one that really makes manicure long-lasting. Simpy must-have.

I've tried out a lot of base coats and this is easily the BEST base coat ever! I started using this base over 3 years ago and it's been the only base coat I've been using since then. The coats are very thin and dries very fast, so it takes no time to apply it! The wide brush makes it extremely easy to apply! It always makes my manis last very long. If I take good care of my nails, it always lasts at least 2 weeks. Sometimes when I don't feel like wearing a thick layer of nail polish, I just wear the base coat and nothing else to protect my nails and give them a little shine. You get a great amount of polish in the bottle. It's easily worth the price!

MY GO-TO BASE COAT

It definetly did its job. Ths is my first essie polish and I approve. Sure it is a bit pricey, but there is one weird thing about it that I found peculiar. It was very thin. It was much thinner than all my nail polishes. I am not complaing about that though. It allows a thin even coat, so now the layers of nailpolish won't build up on your nail. But you could buy other base coats if the money is too much. It works as well as others, but i would buy it for the thin consistency.

Good product. Usually priced around 10$ . Nothing amazing but not awful. Can't honestly tell if this made any difference since my polish chips away always around the same time. Don't expect much from a base coat but I still use it on a daily basis. Looking for a good one still!

I don't like this product at all. It makes my nails chip so fast. I am a repeat user and it still continues to happen. I think that there is definitely a better product out there. I will not be buying this again.
