Before I bought these my dog would follow her food bowl as it slid across the floor while she ate. Now she can stay in one place and she doesn't have to bend over quite as much to eat. I definitely got my money's worth with this. It was cheaper than other stores I'd seen it in and the stainless steel bowls are easy to clean.

I love these bowls and more importantly, so does my German Shepard puppy. These are perfect for her to grow with as she is growing so fast. They are easy to clean and she hasn't tried to destroy these as she did with her plastic bowls. Also, because they are in the stand, she can't pick up the full bowl of water now as she used to and carry it in the other room, spilling it everywhere. I, we, strongly recommend these bowls.

Love these Bowls!!

I am overall very pleased with the dishes and stand itself. I (as others) had a really hard time getting the stickers off. I soaked them for a day in soapy water...that got the paper of the sticker off but the sticky residue remained. I then poured enough vegetable oil in the bottom to cover and left for another day and a 1/2. That did the trick! No damage to the dishes and the oil disolved the residue. Of course I could not get it all off the bottom side of the bowls but oh well! Great price. I would recommend...just know you cannot use them for a few days after purchasing!

Good Dishes, Bad Stickers!

I purchased the 1 quart set in 1998 (almost 10 years ago!) and my dog has used them daily. The bowls are not near as shiny as they were new and the end caps on the legs of the stand are well worn but after 10 years could you expect any more???? The bowls are completely dishwasher safe and are easy to clean because of the stainless steel.

The last bowls you will every buy!

I love them plain and simple. The holder is very convenient and I love the fact that they offer them in different sizes. I got the pint-sized for my cat and they're purrfect! I also love the fact that they're stainless steel because they're so easy to clean and unlike plastic there's nowhere for bacteria to lurk. Nothing but good things to say about this product!

These are a decent quality dog dish for the cost. I too had trouble removing the stickers. On one of the bowls, the residue from the sticker never completely came off. The dishes have held up well to a 40+ lb. boxer puppy though. They really are a good buy considering they are so much more inexpensive than comparable dishes! I would purchase these again and recommend them if you don't mind having to scrub the stickers off. They overall are a good deal.

good dishes for the money

If you're looking for a decent, useful, affordable set of food/water dishes in a virtually skid-proof frame, you can't go wrong here. I bought the smaller size for a cat that adopted us and have been well-satisfied with its performance.

Win-win product

Have two for my two cats. Holds enough food. They like the stainless better than plastic. Holders are handy. Good buy, cheaper than anywhere else I looked. Such as Pet stores and discounts.

Stainless Steel Boxed Pet  Dishes

When I received the item I was very pleased with the quality of it, but also disappointed that the bowls sat on the floor. It looked to be raised slightly in the picture. Also a puppy is still able to push the bowls around the floor even with the rubber stops on the bottoms of the legs. All in all a good value though.

A good value

This product is good except for the fact that the bowls hit the floor when set down - had to bend the metal to make them not sit on the floor.

Decent

The stainless steel is too thin on the bottom of the bowls. I say this because I first soaked the bowls with water to try to get the sticky inside labels off, this did not work. So I put dish soap w/water and soaked but the label was still sticky and gummy from the label glue. Next I put some bleach in the bowls and left them to sit overnight. I guess the combination of the label glue/gum and the bleach was too abrasive and it ate through the stainless steel. One of the bowls now does not hold water and the other also has this burn corrosion area. I don't think I will use these bowls for my kitten. I may try ceramic bowls or another style of stainless bowls. This product is a good price if you have a good way to remove the label.
