This appliance is very easy to use. The directions could be more detailed with problem solving scenarios. Tried a recipe and it didn't quite turn out will go back to original way until I understand this machine better. Yogurt is a long term process. Takes patience. Wish it were a quicker process.

For a basic unit this item performs well. The compactness fits our logistics as well. Very little counter top/cabinet real estate is required . Appears to be sturdy. No auto timer may concern some users. The operation procedures/instructions are basic and specific.

Basically everything one needs to make good yogurt

It's actually quite versatile.  The jars are good quality glass with tight lids.  You can take them out and use the cooker with a baking dish if you want to make a single large batch of yogurt and strain it.  I tried it with a 1.5 quart Corningware dish and it worked perfectly.  This yogurt maker does exactly what I wanted it for and at a reasonable price.

Yogurt Cooker cooks yogurt!

Excellent yogurt maker.  Easy to use, jars are a good serving size.  Temperature remains constant and the shape of the lid prevents condensation from remaining over the jars.  The size is easy to store in the cabinet.  I love everything about this yogurt maker.

Excellent Yogurt Maker

Making yogurt is SO simple. Who knew. Make it plain then add what you like. Instructions are easy to follow. Mix ingredients, put in jars, turn on machine, wait 8-12 hrs. , lids on, go into frig. . Next day nice firm yogurt. You can make 7 jars at a time.

don't hesitate, just buy it. ot works like a charm. just understand that you need a small amount of yogurt as a starter.  that's normal for yogurt makers. a small amount to make a larger amount is a good deal if you ask me

I only wish it had a thermometer on it.  I need  my yogurt at 98-100 degrees so as not to kill my bacteria.  Luckily I have a thermometer that fits in perfectly.  And it has not gone too hot.  Makes it perfect.  I can't make it fast enough.

Arrived two days after expected date. I thought it would be a little bigger as I assumed from the picture online. But honestly I love the Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker! Very easy to use and instructions are very easy to follow. The very day it arrived I made my first batch of Yogurt!!! Came out perfect :)

I love Yogurt so this Yogurt maker is pretty much perfect for me. It's only shortcoming is that it's heat is not consistent for all 7 jars. Especially the center jar which is at least 4 or 5 degrees warmer than the other ones. The temperature of the other jars varies by one or two degrees so you have to make sure all of the jars are finished before putting them in the fridge.

Pretty darn good

The advertising indicated that the unit had a timer. This turns out to be a series of numbers printed on the side of the unit with a marker on the lid that you can line up with the hour you expect to stop the unit. That is NOT a timer.
I have used the unit once following all the directions. Water condensed on the lid of the unit, ran down the side, and flooded my cabinet.
10 hours in the unit created very soft yogurt that was actually runny.
I do not like the jars, but that was the only style that appeared in my searches. I have now found that there are other makers that just make a 1 quart batch in 1 jar. For me, that would be better.

Misleading Advertizing

This product used to be of very good quality, especially the glass jars. However, recently, I think they have changed the supplier of their glass jars. The current glass jars look opaque, hazy, and give off a sour smell of glass glue. I no longer recommend this product.
