This kettle is for daily use. It looks pretty but doesn't hold much water. I thought 1.5 quart would be enough for two people for daily use, but really is not. Way over priced and in Looking around more I see I can purchase a larger kettle with similar features for less money. The handle gets extremely hot. One upside is the spout stays open if you prefer, rather than always closed and whistling.
