I’ve been really impressed with the Eris One-Handed Playard with Bassinet so far. The overall look and design fit perfectly with my style, which was important to me since it’s something we use every day.

The SensorySmooth technology is a great feature—it was easy to set up, synced quickly to my phone, and switching between modes is simple and intuitive.

Right now, I’m mainly using the bassinet, and it’s been great for my baby. It feels comfortable and secure, and I love that I’ll be able to transition to the full playard as my baby grows. The setup was super easy, which made a big difference, especially postpartum.

I also appreciate the side panel feature—it’s not something I need just yet, but I can already tell it’ll be really useful down the line.

Overall, this feels like a well-designed, practical piece that grows with your baby, and I’m really happy with it so far.

I love the neutral colors because it fits flawlessly in my home with all of my other furniture. The padding on the bed part is very comfortable compared to other similar products. I love the cute mobile hanging from it. The music and lights are simple yet engaging for a baby. I love how easy and simple it is to control from the phone app. The music and songs are cute and there are plenty to choose from. Overall it is very easy to set up. The only part that was a little challenging to set up by myself was while attaching the bassinet part. It is a little tricky to do by yourself. Overall I would recommend this to anyone with a baby because it’s cute and easy to use. I love how there is a little zipper at bottom to check on baby or let baby climb through once they can crawl.

First, I really love the overall design. It has a modern, clean look that fits well with my home without feeling bulky or out of place. The neutral style makes it easy to blend into any room.

The SensorySoothe technology is a standout feature. It was simple to use and actually made a difference in calming my baby. The soothing sounds and gentle motion helped settle him, especially during fussy moments, which I truly appreciate as a parent.

Switching between the bassinet and playard modes was very easy and convenient. As my baby grows, I can see this being something we will continue to use without needing to replace it, which makes it feel very versatile and worth it.

A Must-Have Playard for Growing Babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a previous Evenflo fan, I already had high expectations as their products tend to be user friendly and useful. I already loved their designs as they blend effortlessly into my home so when I had the opportunity to test the Eris bassinet, I was so excited to review it through the Stellar Peoduct Testing Panel and it did not disappoint. First of all, it's the colorways it comes in are so aesthetic which is always a nice plus but where it really shines is how easy it is to set up and then pack up, it really is a one hand playpen. Besides its convenience as a parent, my baby lovesss the SensorySooth technology, particularly the light bar and since its a bassinet and playpen, we will both get to enjoy it after he outgrows the bassinet feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been using the Eris One-Hand Playard with Bassinet with our three month old, and loving it so far! I was given this playard to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had been using another Playard/bassinet for him previously, but the Eris has several advantages that our old one does not. 

First, is the aesthetics. This Playard is beautiful. We live in a smaller house, so all of our baby items are out and about in main living spaces where we have to look at them all day long. The neutral colors match the style of our house nicely and even the SensorySoothe technology with the little bird looks stylish and modern. It is much nicer to look at in our home than our old Playard.

In terms of comfort, our baby took to it immediately. It seems like the mattress is comfortable for him. The 360 mesh panels ease my mind creating a safe sleep space, and the mattress feels really breathable too. We could not get him to nap in his old Playard, but he is happy to hang out and lay down in this one! 

The SensorySoothe technology is one of the best parts of this Playard for me because my baby loves all hanging toys, music, and lights. He cannot fall asleep without music playing, so having the ability to play nap time music for him without using my phone as a music player is awesome. I was able to download the accompanying app and start using it in just a few minutes. The app is easy to navigate, and I like that it has preset scenes for sleep and play so you can turn it on without a lot of effort. You can also create and save your own scenes which is great. I can customize scenes with the songs, sounds, and colors that my baby likes, and keep his settings always queued up. Between the bird mobile, the pretty light show, and the music - my baby loves this thing. It grabs his attention immediately, and it works for both play time and nap time. The only downside I've experienced so far is that the maximum volume is on the quieter side, but it still works well for him, and I do like that I can control the volume from the app.

For the Playard functionality, it only takes a minute to unzip the bassinet section the transition it to Playard mode. It is heavy when closed, but my husband was able to set it up and take it down quickly and easily with the One-Hand handle. We have already moved it between our upstairs and downstairs a bit, and it only takes a couple of minutes. We end up wrestling with the poles on his old Playard and have to break out the manual to remember how to break it down and set it back up, so the One-Hand handle is a major upgrade. We have minimal storage and floor space, so having baby items that can multitask and be put away quickly and easily is critical for us. 

I really like that we will be able to continue using this for a long time as my son gets bigger. We have only used it as a bassinet so far, but I plan to set it up in my home office so he can have a safe play / nap area next to me once he is big enough to sit up and use the zip-open panel more.

Overall, I really love this Playard / bassinet combo and my baby does too! It has a lot of thoughtful, unique features and we're excited to keep using it!

First Playard Bassinet my baby will actually nap in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has been a fantastic addition to our daily routine for both my 4.5-month-old and my 2-year-old. The overall design is sleek and modern and fits perfectly with our home’s style, but more importantly, the material is incredibly soft and practical. I've already had to wipe up a few meses, and the fabric cleans up effortlessly. Because the mesh panels offer a full 360° view, I can always keep an eye on the girls, which gives me great peace of mind.
The SensorySmooth technology has been a huge hit with the baby. She sleeps really well in this playard for both naps and overnights, and she seems to truly enjoy the integrated light and noise machine. Since her usual bassinet only has sound, the light is a great upgrade. Controlling everything through the app is very convenient, especially with the option to use timers or keep the light on. I find the light handy at night if I need to get up and move around, etc. I was also impressed with the attachment bar as it folds down to fit right inside the bed when you store it. 
The versatility of this playard is where it really shines. While it's a cozy sleep space for the baby, it has also worked wonderfully as a playard and nap spot for my toddler. She especially loves the zip-open side panel, which allows her to crawl in and out on her own. I personally love that feature too, as it saves me from the back strain of lifting a 2-year-old over the top rail.
Switching into the bassinet mode for the baby was a bit of a surprise because it zips into place rather than using traditional snaps. While it seemed a little time-consuming at first, it wasn't difficult to figure out and gets easier each time. It also feels much more secure than snap on ones. Plus, the support bars are connected to the bassinet material, so I don't have to worry about misplacing them.
When it comes to portability, the one-handed collapse feature actually works as advertised and is a lifesaver when my hands are full. I initially didn't think it had wheels,   but I was happy to discover small wheels on every leg that allow it to move across my hardwood floors with total ease. The only real downsides are the lack of a storage bag,  which leaves the mattress exposed when it's put away, and the Velcro straps. Threading  those straps through the brackets during take down is currently a bit time consuming, though I’m hopeful it will get easier with more use. Overall, it is a secure, back-saving, and high-tech solution for both of my kiddos.

Great portable Modern Playard

Love the aesthetics of this playard, it’s beautiful.  The sound bar on top and zipper underneath are great options.  However, the mattress is lumpy and not as flat as most other baby sleep items I’ve used. Another major issue I found, is when I removed the bassinet piece and lowered my baby to the bottom to sleep, the middle handle to fold up the playard is SO hard even with the mattress.  My baby moves to the ends or the very edge, I’m sure because it’s awful to sleep over.  The mattress also is secured via Velcro straps on the short ends, however nothing to secure it down on the long ends, which seems a little unsafe to me.

Lumpy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first-time mom who gave birth in my late 30s, I really value products that are both functional and thoughtfully designed. I received this product for free through Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was so excited to try it. My first impression was very positive, especially from a design standpoint. I’m also a law firm partner who works from home alongside our nanny, so I had the benefit of observing daily use closely and getting her feedback as well.

Design and Overall Look
This is where the playard really shines. The aesthetic is sharp, modern, and elevated in a way that a lot of baby gear just isn’t. It looks intentional rather than purely utilitarian. It also pairs beautifully with the Evenflo Elara Swing, which we already own, so it feels cohesive in our space rather than like random baby gear scattered around the house.

SensorySoothe Technology
The concept behind the SensorySoothe feature is great and the controls are easy to figure out. In practice, though, the quality didn’t quite match the idea. The sensory bar on ours arrived slightly bowed, which made it feel less sturdy than I expected. It does offer some engagement, but it wasn’t a game changer in terms of calming my 3 month old daughter.

Bassinet and Playard Functionality
I do appreciate the 2-in-1 design and the ability to use it as both a bassinet and a playard as your baby grows. However, my 3 month old is large (18lbs 28in), and I didn’t feel overly confident with her in the bassinet mode. But the transition between modes is very straightforward. That said, the overall structure felt a bit rickety, which made both me and our nanny a bit hesitant about relying on it long term in either setup.

Ease of Use and Features
The one-handed open and close feature is genuinely helpful, especially when you are holding a baby. The zip-open side panel is convenient for access, and the mesh panels are great for visibility and airflow. These are all well thought out features that make everyday use easier, and our nanny especially appreciated the convenient access during the day.

Comfort and Build Quality
The mattress is very thin, similar to the padding in the Elara swing. While that may be typical for portability, it does not feel especially substantial. Combined with the overall lack of sturdiness, it takes away from the sense of quality you hope for in a sleep and play space.

Overall
This playard has a lot going for it in terms of design and concept. It is one of the better-looking options out there and fits seamlessly into a modern home. However, the execution in terms of build quality did not quite live up to my expectations.
